Halfway between Kansas City and St. Louis, golfing Jefferson City is super-convenient. If you live here, it's never too late to squeeze in an afternoon tee time. If you are visiting, check out the sights after your round of golf. Lake of the Ozarks is a short drive south. In Fulton, visit a museum devoted to one of the most influential statesmen of the 20th century, Winston Churchill. Or stay in the capital city and hike around the stately Capitol building.
