Iowa City Courses

The scenic Midwest has long since become a hotspot for golfers. More and more are grabbing their clubs and heading to Iowa City for a round on any one of the 12 courses in the area. With both private and public courses, there is a golf course to fit any person’s budget.

Accommodations for visitors in Iowa City are plentiful and brilliantly handled. For entertainment, the Hancher Auditorium at the University of Iowa is a host for nationally touring theater, dance and musical shows. Also, there is a variety of cultural offerings in the city including the Pedestrian Mall downtown, which draws larges crowds in the summertime as it serves as a gathering place for locals.

A little bit of trivia: 2007 Masters Tournament winner, Zach Johnson, was born in Iowa City.
