Flint is located in Genesee County about an hours drive northwest of Detroit. The city’s landscape and culture are dominated by the auto industry, however it also has 33 golf courses to choose from. Flint is in close proximity to the great lakes which keeps the climate more moderate than other cities at similar latitudes. The summers are generally warm and humid, with an average high temperature in the 80's.
