Columbia, MO Golf Courses

Sure its nickname is “College Town USA,” but that doesn’t mean you can’t find great golf off campus because there are nine courses in the area to tee off from.

Visitors come to Columbia for all sorts of reasons. This town has been described as “fun, funky and surprisingly sophisticated.” It may be small, but there is no shortage of things to do. The city boasts an exciting mix of unique restaurants, specialty stores and galleries. Its festivals alone bring out the locals and in the visitors as Columbia hosts some of the most famous music festivals in the country.

A little bit of trivia: Before the founding of Columbia, the area was prairie and open forest maintained through burning by Native Americans.
