Battle Creek Courses

Located midway between Detroit and Chicago, is the Battle Creek Metro Area. Home to one of the biggest hot-air balloon festivals in the country (one of Michigan’s top attractions), Battle Creek has 19 golf courses to choose from. Golfers tend to flock to Battle Creek because of its great public golf courses at small city prices and exceptional championship courses right in the middle of South Central Michigan.

For example, at the Medalist Golf Course you’ll find a links-style course that has been lovingly etched out of a landscape of almost 300 acres of rolling wooded land and wetlands. Don’t be afraid of the friendly wildlife that has been known to frequent the fairways, such as wild turkeys, deer, fox, sandhill cranes, and the occasional white robin. Instead, focus your fears on hole No. 7, known as the “Little Terror.”
