Ames Golf Courses

Ames is the proud home of the Iowa State Cyclones. From Story City down to Huxley, there's a windfall of golf courses around here. Blow off class? Sure. But never blow off the opportunity for a last-minute tee time, especially on those breezy spring afternoons. After your golf round, drift a few miles north to Britt and check out the National Hobo Foundation, home to the annual National Hobo Convention. Seems this area is renowned for all things windborne. You can blame your hook on that wind, too, if you think anyone will believe it.
