Blue Mash Golf Course
Centrally located in Montgomery County, MD, Blue Mash is a delightful Arthur Hills design featuring a mix of open, wooded and water holes. With no forced carries it is entirely playable for all golfers, yet is still considered one of the toughest challenges in the region from the back tees, especially with the stronger than average winds that blow through this former farm. Since opening in 2001, the opening three holes have become almost legendary as the toughest opening stretch in the region, but good birdie opportunities also abound starting with the short par 3 6th hole and including the driveable par 4 8th hole. Blue Mash is a great track and well worth the visit.
