Tates Creek Golf Course 3.6 5 5 5
Nice city course Creek is one of my favorite courses. It can be pretty challenging with tons of tree's and OB here and there... but it's also fairly short overall in distance. The Tates Creek Anthem is known as the rattling of the balls in the trees... It is maintained decently, about what you should expect from a city course... but the rates are good and Aaron and the guys that work there are all friendly. Many times I go there by myself and play alongside other local guys... definitely one of the best places to walk-up and find a game on the tee box. Only negative is that it gets some non-golfers at times that do not understand slow play and normal golf rules. January 20, 2013
Decent for the money Greens are hard and small, but putt fairly consistently. Short course but requires accuracy... Fairways and rough around the green could be in better shape. October 18, 2012
Nice solid course Quick Greens. Sloping in many spots. Very tight in places. LOTS of trees! September 28, 2012
Nice city course I think of this as my home course since its about a mile from my house and i play it a couple times a week. Thanks to golfnow sometimes i'm on it for $12 for 18 with a cart. That's ridiculously cheap, how can i not go? The coarse is short but very hilly. With easy back to back par 5's in the first 3 holes and a easy par 3 right after its easy to get a great jump on the coars here. Back 9 seems much more challenging and hosts a pair of par 5's that play longer than listed. I consistently shoot 4 strokes higher on the back. Greens could be better but it gets a lot of hacks that do not know any golf etiquette so in the rare instance they actually create a divot, they don't do it often enough to know they should be fixing it. Nothing worse than a lot of municipal coarses though. September 26, 2012
Excellent weekday senior value proposition Nice bones, could use some TLC. The course is short and having course knowledge is very helpful September 25, 2012
