Tomahawk Hills Golf Course
Built in 1910 and one of the oldest golf courses in the metropolitan area, this beautiful course ranks as one of the area's most challenging public courses. Accessible from Midland Drive off I-435 in Shawnee, Kansas, Tomahawk Hills is a 250-acre complex set among the picturesque rolling hills adjacent to Shawnee Mission Park and the lowland area of Little Mill Creek. It offers golfers of all skill levels a challenging 18-hole championship course with over 6,000 yards of course which plays to a par 70. The facility also includes new carts, updated driving range, putting and chipping green and a clubhouse. The new clubhouse opened for use in early March 2011 and is located directly east of the existing putting green.
