Alvamar Public Golf Course
The Alvamar Golf Course includes the Jayhawk and Quail Creek nines and is open to the public. Noted architect, Bob Dunning, designed a course characterized by large scale greens, tees and flowing fairways, very much in the spirit of the famous Robert Trent Jones. This parkland-style course has found favor over the years for its combination of playability and challenge for golfers of all ability levels. Selecting the appropriate length to play the course can increase the golfer's enjoyment. Four sets of tees provide courses ranging from 4,700 to nearly 7,100 yards. Bring a full set of clubs, as you will most likely use them all.
