Buffalo Dunes Golf Course
Buffalo Dunes Golf Course, a Mecca for public golf, features an 18-hole regulation golf courses including a short game practice facility and driving range. Buffalo Dunes was developed from land owned by Brookover Feedyard Inc. Earl C. Brookover Sr. donated the land to the City of Garden City to develop the course. In 1976 architect Frank Hummel designed what came to be Buffalo Dunes. The golf course has won numerous awards and it consistently one of the top rated courses in the state of Kansas.
