Great Course and Wheather...
We play great, having a good wheather, sunny with some fresh wind, our caddie Jose did a great job by reading the greens very accurate, and correcting on on the mistakes we were doing through the course.

One great experience!
My friend and I played there in the winter of 2011 and are going back this February. We can't wait to play here again. From the staff, to the course, it was a great experience. We rented clubs and it looked like they weren't even used yet, they were that clean! The staff was super friendly, the course was in beautiful shape (not too busy the morning we played) and the scenery was awesome. After our round, we spent a couple of hours in the clubhouse, just chatting away with the staff. Great bunch of guys. They even bought us a round of drinks. Meet a gentleman at the bar Senor (sorry forgot his name) but if I remember right, he was the head of the resort part of the golf course and he even gave us a couple of passes to play another course up in the mountains. Here's hoping this years experience will be just the same!!!

Very nice course... a little pricy.
Nice layout, good views near the beach (on certain holes) and of the crocodiles! Always keep in your mind that you will need to give your putts a little more zip than usual; the greens are less then average speed. Definitely use the practice green before starting out. Despite the speed, they seem to roll pretty true, and there is some subtlety in breaks.
Yardage markers are painted on the cart paths and on a very few sprinkler heads. If you are not used to that, I recommend that you bring your SkyCaddie, laser or other aid.
There are no blind shots, no elevation changes and only a couple of forced carries that are not long. There are, however, at least two or three holes where either sand or water cross the front of the green. You may not see them until you are relatively close. A long hitter should be wary on these holes; a shorter approach shot is better to have a chance at holding those greens.
Bunkers are numerous, but not at all overdone. The sand is adequate in depth and the consistency is not bad, but the pebbles and small rocks are! Keep an eye out for large waste areas as well, also filled with sand. There are no bunker rakes in any bunker; they place a rake in your cart instead. Keep that in mind as you play so that you don't forget and keep going back and forth to the cart.
The pro shop seems to be well stocked and is very pleasant. Norma (?) at the desk is pleasant and speak very fluent English. The club also has a very nice terrace where you can sit and have a post-round drink or snack and watch players coming in on 18.
I played alone and at what I considered to be a pretty leisurely pace - finished in 3:15. I amazed myself since I played a couple of balls on two or three holes.
Overall, a fairly nice course - relatively challenging and decent condition. I don't believe it is well priced... too expensive for the product and location. Definitely use golfnow.com to obtain more favorable pricing. I got a 2:00 tee time for $65.

Fair Value, Muni Experience
Course was interesting, very quite, and unhurried. Course received little play during the two times I played
Played in Sept 2012: wind is an issue on this course, as is the heat. Player tip: The greens were slow and would not hold an approach. Also, forget retrieving a ball in the water, there are crocs there. Lastly the blues play very long against the prevailing winds. Count on all carry shots as fairways have minimal roll out.
The ability to negotiate prices down locally is minimal. I found GolfNow the best option. Really very aggravating was the one hour limit at the range should you wish to practice. $17/hour and enforced. I had the starter give me grief even though I was the only one on the range that day. Not a terrific experience but it was golf in paradise.
