The Fort Golf Course showcases the best of what Indiana golf has to offer. Located just minutes from downtown Indianapolis, famed golf course architect Pete Dye took this 238 acre natural setting and created an 18 hole championship layout that is both beautiful and challenging. The 7,148 yard, par 72 design features tree lined fairways, rolling hills, and the Dye trademark undulating greens. With multiple tees beginning at 5,045 yards, golfers of all skill levels will face the challenge they desire.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bogey Man Loved the design. The old growth trees and undulating fairways and greens make it a challenge. Fun to play and would definitely go back. August 18, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great course but the greens need attention We always have enjoyed playing at The Fort. No issues with the overall conditions except for the greens. The have been very acceptable in the past, generally firm and in good repair. On August 16th, they were extremely pock-marked with unrepaired and/or regrowing ball marks. We had a number of putts that bounced and others that were thrown offline after traversing areas that were not all all smooth. I'm not a turf expert, but the greens looked like they need punching or slitting, top dressing with sand, and rolling. August 17, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Hills in the flatland Gorgeous setting in metro Indy. Hard to fathom the elevation changes in flat corn country but this course reminds you of North Carolina. Another plus is no homes, just golf course. Fairways and bunkers in excellent condition, greens a little beat up, probably from recent rain. Gets a lot of play as well. Played in four hours which sometimes doesn't happen here. Newbies need to play the correct tees...if not, can jam up the whole course. August 8, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great layout! The course layout is worth how much you pay!!!. The pace of play was 5 1/2 so not great. Got paired up with, which was expected since it is an extremely busy course. Explains why the greens are in horrible conditions. The amount of ball marks, burned out sections and foot traffic make putting a real challenge on top of the course design. No matter the green conditions I would still go back and play again because of the layout. July 31, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great course One of the best public courses in the state. Always enjoy playing The Fort July 31, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Fun Day at the Fort This was my first time playing The Fort and really enjoyed the track. Overall the conditions were very good. The course had held up pretty well to all the rain the region had received, although there were a few pretty mushy areas around. The course is not the most challenging course around although a few holes tested your skills and local knowledge helped on a couple holes. Overall, good solids course that I would definately paly again. July 29, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Best course in Indy It's been awhile since I've been here but it's still in great shape and such a treat. I took customers and they loved it. The layout is fantastic, there is risk reward on the short par 4's and there is plenty of thinking to do on your way aroynd. The greens were a rad slow but received a ball nicely. July 22, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by One of the best courses in Indianapolis Lots of rain-cart path only.Very windy but playable. I love this course because of the elevation changes and variety of each of the holes.Pace of play was very good-course was not crowded. Got this round on Golf Now for $26/What a deal!!! July 15, 2015
