Annbriar Golf Course 4.8 5 18 18
One of best public courses in Midwest Only complaint is course should advertise when aeration is taking place. Every course should do needed maintenance but should make golfers aware of it. ANNBRIAR about 2 weeks and a little warm weather from being in super shape April 5, 2013
Great course, nice staff, restaturant served the best french toast and bacon I ever had. Very good deal for a very nice course, we only got to play 9 holes because the weather got really bad at the turn, they were very accomodating and gave us a raincheck, restaturant has a variety of food/drink choices. I got there early enough to try their french toast and bacon...very yummy. January 14, 2013
Great Course Worth every penny. Plan on playing it again this spring. January 9, 2013
Annbriar Delivers! I have talked with golf friends about their favorite courses and Annbriar's name consistently comes up. GolfNow had an offer for 16.00 to play and I snapped it up and I am really glad I did! This course was in superb shape and this is in December! Green were challenging but fair. Fairways still had some fluff to them as opposed to many courses that are "hardpan" at this point. The course layout is fun to play. Only a hand full of people were out on the course so I felt like I had booked the entire course to myself which was pretty cool. I would definitely go back and play this course again and with GolfNow offering great deals, it will always be a bargain. December 14, 2012
Terrific place to play Pace was slow but the scenery is so great, who cares. Greens are a challenge to read. I have played this course several times. It is my favorite in the St Louis metro area. December 4, 2012
One of best in St. Louis area This course is one of my favorites in the ST. Louis area. A joy to play, always in very good condition, even after the awfully hot summer we had this year. Worth the higher greens fee. Even better when I golfed for $20 through Golf Now! December 3, 2012
a real gem played late in the season so the fescue wasnt as high as it should have been, so the course was a little easier than normal. this course is great reminds me of harborside in chicago except where the lake should be there are pine trees. about a 20-30 min drive from dt st louis but well worth it. course in great shape and staff super polite. December 2, 2012
as always... course is demanding and in great shape... staff is excellent! December 2, 2012
Great Place to Play, Can't Wait for the Summer Annbriar is always a great course to play. This is the first time I've played there in the off season and was not disspointed. As I have come to expect in playing there, the course was as nice as any in St. Louis. I am a pretty big fan of links style courses and this is among the best in the area. I will definitely try to make it out again this winter. I hope they also continue the $21 evenings next summer. Definitely worth the drive. November 26, 2012
Slow Play Cart path only so it took 5 hours to play. People don't take enough clubs with them and have to go back to the cart. Come on people, get a clue!! November 17, 2012
Best public course in st louis area Challenging but not so difficult that the round is not fun. Pristine conditions. If the course was in Missouri, it would cost $100+ to play. Very friendly staff. Would play here everyday if I could. November 14, 2012
Course looks great The carts were a bit disappointing as they were pretty dirty and the club washer didn't have much water in it. Overall very nice November 12, 2012
Course was in very good shape for late fall golf Annbriar does a great job clearing leaves and keeping course in very playable conditions. Greens were in excellent condition, except I missed all my 13 birdie putts... (more the golfer's issues than the course). The staff and service were not bad, but not too welcoming and easy for a single to link up with a group of players, I had to find my own foursome on the tee. November 3, 2012
Fantastic as always Only thing that wasn't perfect was the weather, but a bad day golfing is better than a good day at work. Well worth the vacation day spent. October 30, 2012
Beautiful setting My husband and I love this course. Worth the drive from St. Louis. Beautiful course, friendly staff. Waterloo offers some great dining destinations to make a day out of it. We will return again and again. October 10, 2012
"Bang-for-the-buck" at Annbriar is the best in Greater St. Louis Based on the "Steele Index" (my rating system to compare the merits of public golf courses relative to the "average daily fee golfer), Annbriar tops my list of affordable, challenging and well-conditioned courses in Metro St. Louis. My group played August 8, 2012, at the height of the 2012 drought. Despite the severe summer weather, the Annbriar staff had the course in near-perfect condition. The fairways, as always, were all but perfect. The rough, unbelievably, was lush, well-mowed, perfectly playable. (One of the few courses I played this year for which that could be said.) The greens were moderately quick, given the necessity of letting them grow a bit during the oppresive heat. Tees and traps were in fine shape. Played from the proper tees, it is a course well-suited for players of moderate to excellent skill. The 3-Pars are all strong; the Par 4's present a variety pleasing to the eye; and the Par 5's are fair and afford some birdie opportunities. A competent staff, great clubhouse and good practice facilites add to the value and experience at Annbriar. September 26, 2012
Only played two holes Although I only played two holes due to rain, they were in great shape, and I look forward to going back there to finish my round! September 24, 2012
Best Public course in area... the course is always in great shape. the tees are in great shape. the fairways are in great shape. the greens are in great shape. the staff is wonderful. a must play in the st. louis area... love this golf course. September 21, 2012
