Chapel Hill is a mature course with undulating terrain, heavily wooded, and features "area best" greens. The course is recognized a "shot makers" facility were shot accuracy is rewarded. 17th hole is one of longest in the state at 703 yards, heavily wooded, with narrow fairways, par is difficult even for best of players.
