For $15 ($25 for non-residents), you can buy a player’s Advantage card that provides a discount on greens fees, range balls, and merchandise as well as preferential treatment when it comes to making Chicago tee times. In Bloomington, the Prairie Vista Golf Course is long and water-filled - but fair and forgiving as well. Greens fees stay under $30 and a three-course combo pack is reasonably priced for area residents and serious duffers.
