The Dune at Maui Lani on Maui offer 18 holes, par 72 and 6841 yards. All prices per person and include golf cart rental.

The Dunes at Maui Lani Golf Course is built on million-year old sand dunes located in central Maui. Its 18 holes are unique to anything in America because of the terrain upon which they are set, and the design techniques which were deployed by the course's architect.

The 6,840-yard par 72 Dunes at Maui Lani Golf Course is designed much like the courses built centuries ago in the British Isles, as its holes take full advantage of Maui’s natural, sloping island dune terrain. That’s why creativity, finesse, strategy, and good shot-making are all part of the Dunes experience. In addition to good golf, The Dunes has the only lit range with grass tees in central Maui, and is home to the newly opened Dunes Restaurant; all very conveniently located in central Maui.

The Dunes At Maui Lani Golf Course 3.8 5 29 29
Maui Gem This non-resort course in central Maui is my favorite on island. Every hole has distinct characher and is extremely fun. Because it is not associated with a resort, my wife and I played at 11a for significantly under the super-twilight rate via golfnow and it felt like we had this great course to ourselves. April 2, 2013
Not bad for a lower price option in Maui I played this course the day after playing Kapalua Plantation, so anything is easier than that but I remember it as having a number of shorter holes and not too difficult. It has a few blind shots and goes up and down some hills on the back. The course condition was ok but not great. If you want to take a day off from the high priced resorts this is an option. The course is close to the airport and some views are close to residential areas. Can see mountains in the distance but not great views. March 30, 2013
It's worth to play there a round! Every Thing is ok, exept the Greens. They are not so good and different in speed and condition! For a quick meal, I recommend the restaurant. March 27, 2013
Pace of play very slow, no monitoring The managment of this course is lacking: reflected in letting a 7-some play in front of us and no monitoring by a marshall. In addition, greens were shaggy and not very playable. March 27, 2013
Great value for the money The course is wonderful and the staff is even better. The club house has the best value lunch on Maui . They really appreciate you as a customer and the course is challenging but once you have played it , one can do better in the scoring area. March 15, 2013
good course, great value and friendly staff Course has some real challenges but also plays well for higher handicaps. Very accommodating staff and a very good restaurant! The Dunes is our "go to" golf course on Maui! March 14, 2013
Great Links Style Course in Maui The course plays difficult due to the tradewinds. It is in great shape year around and is always playable in under 4 hours. Lighted driving range also. March 5, 2013
If the wind is blowing the Blue "T" is all you want. Tough course from the Blue T for a 9 handicaper. If the wind is blowing hard the 5,888 yards would be a good test. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant has great food at very reasonable prices for Maui. I would play it again. February 27, 2013
Course was in better shape than I had read. Challenging A lot of holes up hill or down hill or both. Enjoyed playing the course. Would play it again. One of the better values on Maui. February 23, 2013
This course is set up to be too difficult We played the Resort yardages and still had difficulty scoring. It was set up for a low handicap golfer. I'm an 11 handicap and I couldn't break 90. Sand traps had little or no sand in them because the high winds blow it all out. I'd love to play this course with no wind and sand in the traps. The scenery was breath taking. February 21, 2013
Great inland course, good value Course was in great condition. Not the most scenic course on the island, but did have a few holes with good mountain views. I played this course in the early afternoon and did not experience the winds that others have talked about when I read other reviews. I thought the course played fair. There were quite a few blind shots, but fairway markers were well placed for guidance. Loved the course and would have played it again if I had more time on the island. February 13, 2013
Cost to much for the reasons listed slow Course is in poor shape. No sand in the traps. Gas carts noisy and smelly. No gps. Pay for range balls. Back home would be a 40$ course. I wouldn't recommend the corse to others at the $ February 4, 2013
Each hole is guarded well. Excellent pace of play. Wind was not blowing excessively when we played. Although all golf on Maui is expensive this was a good value compared to Wailea and Kaanipali courses. January 29, 2013
Tough course This is not a resort course. It is a difficult and penal track. Lot of fairway bunkers in play, multiple holes with trees in fairway. Extreme elevation changes and a lot of blind shots to greens. Greens were good-average speed, but pretty large with a lot of contour. This course is hot and windy in the afternoon. Described as a links course but is in name only. Would take multiple times playing to figure out where to drive to and where to aim 2nd shots. Even then, possible to get penalized with a good shot. Fairways were pretty rough and dried out. Could make a case that this is the toughest course in Maui. Single digits would appreciate the difficulty if played well. If you're a higher handicapper, 20+ be prepared and bring a lot of balls. Golf and otherwise. January 27, 2013
We had a great time. My son and I played this track after Dunes at Maui Lani and this was better. Also played Kaanapali Kai and this was cheaper and better. January 26, 2013
Nice fun course Got a good deal at $61 on Golf Now. Enjoyed the round with my son and son in law January 23, 2013
great condition Great coarse. Be sure to get some drinks and snacks before you head out. The coarse does not go by the clubhouse at the turn. January 17, 2013
always a fun course, good value a real value course when compared to the resort courses at kanapali or wailea. course in good condition with fair greens tho they were pretty slow. a few funky holes esp on the back nine (one straight downhill, blind tee shot, then another straight up the same hill going back). staff friendly. we always plan a round here when we travel to maui. pace of play about 4 hours. January 15, 2013
Great day of Golf Played last week on an early morning start, play was smooth and course was fun. Weather was great, a bit cool when we teed off and just getting warm when we finished. Spectacular views of the West Maui mountains. Starter and the staff were real friendly. The club house restaurant is excellent. January 12, 2013
Got there early, went out as 2 some played in less than 3 hrs Course in good shape, greens good & very consistent January 9, 2013
Fun times on the links Every hole is different. This makes for a fun day. January 1, 2013
Good layout Needs a little attention but for winter golfing in Maui, it beats the alternative. Great layout, few long challenging par 4's. Overall a 7 out of 10. December 27, 2012
this is a fun and challenging course as well as a great value in maui. I have played this course 3 times and each time it has been one of my favorite courses for different reasons.Pin locations, tee box locations and the wind make this course play differently every time. There are so many great holes that none could be called the signature hole. I could play this course many times and find something new each time. Also a great value for Maui golf. this is big time golf for about half the price of other nice big time golf courses on Maui.I December 19, 2012
Great intermediate course. Wonderful, friendly staff, accommodated our early arrival and got our twosome out ahead of a couple of foursomes. Quick play. Easier front side, more challenging back with uphill and blind greens some holes. Greens were well-maintained and true. Great place to eat. Good quality, well-priced menu. Nothing fancy about the course or the facilities but a very good overall experience. December 3, 2012
Stunning layout. Great challenge. Enjoyable I enjoyed playing the Dunes at Maui Lani. The course is very challenging and offers some great views. Plenty of elevation changes on many holes and good greens. Take a little time to read them as there is plenty of quickness to them. I will play it again! November 20, 2012
Beautiful Day, Beautiful Course, Hidden Gem The Dunes at Maui Lani Golf Course can not be found on a GPS! Other than that, we had a most enjoyable time playing this course. The day was bright and beautiful, the course had very light play and we were able to get right off. The pace of play was essentially at are own pace. The links style design makes use of a narrow piece of land with its out and back layout. Holes were challenging and incorporated the landscape and topography into the layout. Very picturesque. We had limited time to play before take-off, but nearly competed all 18 holes in 3 hours. The staff was very accommodating and the GolfNow.com price was incredible. Would definitely play there again. November 2, 2012
Great course, incredible value The course was in great shape, and the staff was extremely friendly. This was my 6th trip to Hawaii, and first to Maui. I had a few clients that wanted to squeeze in a round during our free afternoon, & this course came recommended by some country club locals I trust. Even better, I found a 40% off GolfNow deal for this course! The course was a great mix of challenge and reward. The greens were in wonderful shape, and the layout was enjoyable. The only disappointment was, this being smack in the middle of paradise and all, my iPhone data wasn't working so I was w/o GPS. Just make sure you load up your course map on your phone app prior to leaving your wifi/hotel if you don't have a true golf GPS device with you. The staff was very welcoming & accommodating. I will definitely play this course again! October 29, 2012
fun course, some challenging holes everything was as you put me in for, cost of refreshments was expensive, but, its MAUI. October 4, 2012
Course was adequately maintained. Bunkers needed attention. You have to catch this course when the wind is not howling. Unfortunately, we did not. The winds gusted to at least 40 mph. I typically hit my 7 iron 165 yrds and did not reach a green from 130 yrds. Some good holes, but I would say this course lives and dies on the way the winds blow. Great rate October 4, 2012
