Great round and value for money The sun was shining in January, and the course was a challenge, but enjoyable. January 20, 2015
Great price The course over was good however there was a backup starting out through the first 6 holes. one or two bucklers were under construction# 18 for sure. January 1, 2015
Such high potential. Greens are BRUTAL What a pretty golf course! It is so nice tee to green. Some really great holes. Why they don't flatten the greens a little is beyond me! I don't think have ever played a course where you can repeatedly hit greens but have basically no chance to 2-putt. I have not seen the Masters but if there are more camel humps in their greens at the hardest course in the world I would be suprised. So you end up frustrated. I suppose local knowledge will help here. December 23, 2014
Special Rate When new management eliminated the senior rate, we dropped the course from our list. After a years absence, and with a special promotion rate, we tried it again. Greens were in better shape than a year ago but challenging with no straight putts. Fairways and tees were in good shape. Balls can disappear in the rough so keep an eagle eye on your shots landing area. Staff is very accommodating and the facility is clean. Holes #5, #8, and #11 seem to play longer than the yardage so club up. December 17, 2014
Avoid Monday GolfNow Deal...Too Crowded! Heritage Links is great and tough track and is in great shape! However, I learned today that the GolfNow discount on Mondays is intended to be a money maker well above the comfort of an enjoyable round. Teetimes were separated at four minutes apart. No way one could complete 18 holes at that separation. The low-cost brought out a mix of very novice golfers to advanced in which made the pace of play absolutely horrible at four minute intervals. I will avoid at all costs on Mondays. December 16, 2014
This course could be great but it is not managed well i played at heritage many times before. I like the course and the challenging holes. The location is close to my house and comvenient to play at. Having said that, the course is horribly managed. The pro shop was very unfriendly. We asked about renting some clubs the gentleman wasn't helpful at all. During the round we typically will play 18 holes in 4 hours, but not at this course. The marshal doesn't care if it takes you 5 plus hours to play. When we informed the Marshall/assistant pro of the slow play, they pretty much put the hands up and said that's just the way it is. On top of that they were squeezing in additional 4 somed onto both the back nines so that the play was even slower. This might be the last time I play this course which is unfortunate. Grown to Appreciate Undoubtedly the best value for the quality of golf in the Atlanta area. The only way to find a course better than this is to drive 25 more minutes or more outside of Atlanta. If you are in Buckhead, Brookhaven, or anywhere in the city close to 85, this is hard to beat. November 29, 2014
Sneaky long. Tough greens. The course measures 6800 yards from the tips, 6400 yards from the middle and less than 6000 yards from the white tees but plays longer with forced carries from the tees and to the well guarded, undulated and fast greens. Room to drive the ball. The real fun begins with the approach shots and only gets better at the greens. Two very long, tough par 3's. Busy course. November 27, 2014
