Heritage Golf Links
I've played this course several times over the last couple of years. A good challenging courses that forces you to make tough shot selection decisions; Make the wrong one and you will pay dearly.
On the plus side, the fairways are excellent and well maintained. On the negative side, the bunkers are in terrible shape. Rock hard if dry and several had water puddles that are totally unplayable. Some greens were in great shape, others were worn out and extremely bumpy.
I paid $29 to play on an internet special so for the money it was okay. If I had paid the regular price to play I would have been extremely disappointed.
Overall, I have mixed feeling about the current condition of the course. If they fix the bunkers and improve the greens, it will return to being a must play course. If not, they should keep the $29 rate as the standard rate. Definitely not worth paying regular rate at is current condition.

There were at least four groups on the tee box to start the round. The cart I received had not been properly cleaned (cooler was full of trash), was missing a scorecard and green sheet. We had three and they paired us up w one more that was required to share the same cart saying that were low on carts, but the group in front of us had at least three carts. The greens were spotty and rough. The little things add up. I will not return.

Heritage Golf Links
Heritage has 27 holes. I had played the two full length courses before but today we were placed on the Heritiage and Tradition. The heritage was full length and mainly in good condition. The Tradition was a waste of money. More of a excutive course then a golf course. While both courses were in nice shape tees and fairways, there were hundreds of ball marks that were not fixed and been open scabs for days. Fixing 2 to 10 ball marks on your line was very common both sets of greens and the speed of the greens were slow for this time of year. Would I go back again this year? No way.

Traveling through Atlanta, we played this course yesterday and very much enjoyed it. Some of the reviews had complaints about the condition of the tee areas. This wasn't a problem for us. There are some tees under repair, but this wasn't a big deal. The greens weren't perfect, but just fine for this time of year. Some of the sand traps were puddle wet (unplayable), but we golfed with two locals who explained that they take free drops for the wet bunkers. (I didn't check if this was an official local rule, but I did take a few free drops on grass.) The challenge of the course and the beauty of the scenery were great. This course isn't for beginners, but it's quite enjoyable for golfers hitting under 100.

Best value around Atlanta. How do you beat the twilight rate of 19.99 with two beers. Course is well maintained and the greens are tricky. I would recommend a marshal to keep pace of play up but other than that I was satisfied.

Excellent Value. Challenging layout
Wow?! Who knew this little gem existed in Tucker? The layout was very hilly with plenty of elevation and dog legs which made for a challenging round.
My only complaint was the greens. They were slow and shabby and I couldn't believe the amount of unrepaired divots on every green.
Don't let this deter you however. The facilities were great. The staff was incredibly friendly.
I'll be back for sure.
