Great features & friendly people @ a great rate Nice course to play at a great rate. I found the course to be in great shape and beautiful as we'll. Everyone was friendly, especially the man in the clubhouse. I didn't catch his name, but very courteous. One bad thing was the flow of play. I played 9 holes & it took 3 1/2 hours. September 14, 2014
fun This course is a great value, have played it about four times in the last 2 months, and it's always a challenging fun round. Difficult for those who can't hit their driver. September 14, 2014
Southland on the upswing This course is improving to the point where it has become one of the best values in Atlanta. It's not perfect, but the greens are excellent, the layout is pretty good, and the price is great. Congrats to Southland for upping its game despite difficult economic conditions. Hopefully its commitment to course conditions will pay off with more play from the community. September 4, 2014
Course was in great shape Southland was in great condition, the fairways were awesome and the greens were simply GREAT. This was the best round of golf I have played at Southland and look forward to playing again. August 20, 2014
Overall course condition. The greens are in great condition at this time. The fairways Are in good condition. Overall it's a good course for the money. The bunkers can stand some work sand and needing some drain lines. August 16, 2014
Fun course Great value for the price. Most of the greens are well kept and the fairways as well. August 16, 2014
Relative Bargain Southland has had its ups and downs over the years, however at least the past two years ,, the course conditions have steadily improved. The fairways were generally in very nice shape and the greens, with the exception of two holes (#6 & #11) were in great shape. If the weahter is hot, make sure you bring plenty of water as there is only one water station on the course and the layout of the course doesn't take you back to the clubhouse until you finish #18. Golf or Go Karts? I have played here multiple times and this was my only bad experiences so take it for what it is worth. The clubhouse guy is great and really friendly. The course was in decent shape, a few greens needed work but everything else was fine. For some reason people where driving all over the course on golf karts. These people didn't have clubs, just driving the karts all over the place (cart path, no path, through the woods, across the greens, wrong direction on the course). My favorite was when I was attempting a birdie put on 11 and the kid ran the golf kart into the woods screaming his head off. Needles to say, no birdie. I will not be going back to this place again, unless I am need of a good golf kart race. Don't go for golf July 28, 2014
