Great greens The course is in good shape. The greens are great. The staff has done a wonderful job getting them in this condition after the cold winter. November 5, 2014
New go-to course I thought this was a good course, and for the money, a great one. Good variety of holes and makes good use of the terrain. Greens rolled well. October 27, 2014
Great Course for the price For the price, I wasn't expecting much. The course was in fact in amazing shape, from the greens to the fairways. There is no cart girl so make sure you bring your own drinks/food, and keep in mind hole 9 does NOT take you back to the clubhouse. Once you're our, you're out until 18. The range is really short and is an irons only range (first I've ever seen that). So don't expect to be driving at the range. For a Sunday, the course was quite dead and even though we caught up to and were stuck behind a 5-some in front of us, we still finished in roughly 3.5 hours. October 27, 2014
some of the best greens in Atlanta area. For the price, these were the best greens I have played this year. They Rock! October 27, 2014
Still challenging and fun Course overall is in great shape, greens are fantastic. This course is always a challenge even for highly skilled golfers. From the tips you'll use every club in the bag. Looking forward to playing again soon. October 22, 2014
Good course for the money Staff could have been nicer! Course was in great shape with a lot of hazard, very fun time! will play again. October 12, 2014
Course is in fantastic shape; Hole 8 needs to be re-classified Played this morning. I played the course earlier in the summer and the greens were mostly completely lost. I didn't think I'd return, but I played elsewhere last week with a couple of guys who said that the greens are in great shape. They were right. These were probably the best greens I've played on all year. The roots of the grass on the greens were so healthy and thick that it was actually difficult to repair ball marks. The rest of the course is in nice shape, too. One critique: hole 8 needs to be remeasured and reclassified as a par 5. The card says it's only 325 from the back tees, but this is simply wrong. A google maps GPS measurement shows that that's not even the case as the crow flies. If you actually play down the fairway (the way a hole is supposed to be at least MEASURED) the hole is just over 450 yards, but actually plays much longer than that because it doglegs 90deg left at 180 yards and anything over 200 will run through the fairway. So a shot straight down the fairway to the dogleg leaves you with about 270yards in, and if you take as far inside as possible without cutting the dogleg you still have about 235. And even at that length the hole is still difficult, because there's a wide creek running diagonally across the fairway that forces you to decide whether you want to hit a lay-up short of the creek to an increasingly narrow fairway, or try to carry it to get close to the green, which is guarded on 3 sides by how close the woods are to it (and the landing area across the creek has a huge bunker on the left and massive rock outcropping on the right, so it's not exactly friendly to play it short of the green). I know it's possible to hit a high shot over very tall mature pine trees to cut a lot of the corner and make the hole play more in the neighborhood of 375-400 yards (depending on how much you cut off), but doing so is actually dangerous because you have to play it over the roofs of houses on adjacent property in order to do that--something the club should NOT be encouraging, but currently are with the par set at what it is (I've played with some hackers before who had no business taking that line but did because, after all, "it's a par 4," and that presented the only chance for them to reach in 2). In short, I already play this hole as a short par 5 because I don't want to risk hitting someone's house or health by trying to cut the corner (and I have seen someone's house hit before). But the course should really just reclassify the hole and have the front side play as a par 37, and the course as a whole play at par 73. October 9, 2014
Pleasant surprise Hadn't played here in a couple years. Was surprised the course was in overall great shape. Very tree lined but fair. Would play again. Great deal for the price! October 3, 2014
