A gem in Savannah
I have played this course twice while visiting Savannah. It has been in great condition both times, and provides for an enjoyable round of golf with a good blend of varying holes. I would not hesitate to play upon returning to the area.

This is a fun course with great conditions
Played this right before the Liberty Mutual Champions tour event, so conditions were very good. The course was fun to play but not overly difficult. The views were good and it is pretty open unless you are on a hole bordered by water. The only complaint was that the carts GPS feature didn't work and would periodically penalize us for driving in places it thought we were, but really weren't. It would have been nice to see the hole by hole as well.
Overall, I would recommend. It definitely was better than the other course we played that week in Savannah.

got a great deal. $70 instead of about $120
Played 2 weeks before Legends of Golf Tournament. Greens were great and fairways perfect. No bad lies on this course (except bunkers)! Normal Golf Now price was $113, but I got one for $64 (plus taxes $70) Green speeds were about 9 or 10 on stemp. Will be faster for tournament. Course is right over the bridge from downtown Savannah.

PGA caliber course
Lush, high quality golf course. Most holes are wide open off the tee, but for a few patches of papas grass, some marsh and many bunkers. The cart's GPS is difficult to see due to glare and placement in cart, but it is accurate and very helpful. Much natural beauty -- plant and wildlife. Younger guys that are starters/cart guys are not gregarious to say the least. Food & beverage service inside the facility was poor. Over 50 minutes to get a beer and quesadilla. Cart girl was super -- she ought to be for $6/beer.

what a beauty!! Play where the Pros Compete!
Despite heavy rains all night before I was excited that the course was open for play at my 2PM tee time - for a course laying near the Savannah River, drainage was surprisingly good. This a beauty of a layout that is playable to many handicap levels - had a blast playing it...looking forward to watching The Legends Tourney on TV to see the pros play it again - super deal with the GolfNow App!!!

Best Course provides best Value!
I had seen the course many times driving to Savannah. I alway's thought it was private. Was very excitied to book a time.
The staff was friendly and knowledgable. The course was green and greens rolled very well. Great driving range, balls included in the price. Well worth the short trip from Hilton head. They also let my wife ride at no extra charge, which is a usual 15$ charge on Hilton Head. Had a great day!!

One of the best courses I've had the previledge to play
Let me start out by saying my wife and I didn't even want to play this day as we both had colds and it was raining and a bit windy. But once we got to the course and was greeted by the friendly staff and saw the course conditions, we decided to soldier on. Even though we play the first few holes as cart path only, we were able to move right along as we were the first ones out. After the third hole, we were given permission to drive on the course at 90 degrees, and the pace quicken even more. We finished our round in just under 4 hours despite soggy conditions. As for the course, the rough was penal but fair and in excellent condition. The fairways were excellently maintained and the greens were smooth and quick even in the rainy conditions. The sand was of course very wet and heavy, but appeared to be maintained well. The course does require some thought when approaching the greens as they are well bunkered. The greens as previously mentioned were indeed fast, but had enough subtle breaks to make putting interesting.
Overall, this was simply a great course managed by great folks and we can't wait to play it again on a better weather day.

Great Course
The course was in fantastic shape. The greens had been rolled and were true and fast. The staff is second to none. My only complaint is that we were rained out after fifteen holes. The good news is we're plaaying it again Saturday morning.

Top level golf
This is all that you expect. The course was in excellent condition, very good layout, upscale operation. It is a playable design for all leves, just use the correct tees for your skill level.

Nice and green in winter with over seeding
Great layout with fast greens and nice fairways, close to downtown.
The only gripe I had was sub-par food on the turn. A 6 pack with one lunch on the go and coffee was 36,00. smuggle in your lunch!

Very Playable
Very accomodating, friendly staff, course was in great shape, was surprised at the mosquitos in December though. If you are playing outside of winter take your DEET - it would still be worth it.

This course is tops in Savannah.
From the moment we approached the bag drop area until we dropped our carts off after finishing #18, everyone was helpful, pleasant, and friendly. The course, while not difficult, is in excellent condition for December. Most holes have nice layouts. It was rather surprising to not see more people playing considering the weather was nearly perfect and it was a Sunday afternoon.

great course in savannah ga
The course was in great shape, A long ball hitters course. the staff was friendly and very helpful. getting a tee time on line is extremely conventient however i would rather be asked if i would mind being grouped with another twosome prior to the day of play. this particular day was a "father/son" outing.
i've been grouped with other people many times at several courses when setting a time time on line.. not always convenient....

Worth every penny
I choose this course over others in the area on the recommendation of the locals. Though the course was near the end of the over seed period, it was in great shape. Fairways are wide with bunkers. Green are also protected. Some holes are long and one green is insane large. 65ft deep at longest point. Must aim at flag if placement at back of green, or you'll be three putting this hole. (which I had to). Really have to think on this course. Cart has GPS with video of holes and yardage . Love this. Nothing can be said about the super friendly staff. A must play course, you won't stop talking about

Probably the top course in the Savannah area.
I see why they host pro golf tournaments here. Probably the best course I have ever played on and I have played on a few. Beautiful course and quite challenging. If you go during the warmer months, make sure you have mosquito repellent. You will encounter marshy areas and the mosquitos will punish you. Quite expensive so I won't get to play it often but I do plan to go back. Awesome experience playing here!

Fabulous Golf Course
This was the best course I have ever played ... also the most difficult. Every aspect of the course was supurb - facilities, driving range, tees, fairway, rough, sand traps, water and greens. It was expensive but worth every penny.

Great golf experience
To play golf on beautiful course on an island, middle of river, with beautiful bridge in background is very enjoyable. Highly recommend this course.

Fair Layout with excellent greens in a unique secluded setting
I played the course one week after the greens had been punched. The putting surfaces were remarkably smooth, even though the aeration holes were still visible. Fairways are generous with some rolling terrain, but there are tight holes out there. Generally though, you could spray the ball and still get back to the green. Conditioning of the course was top notch from tee to green with the bunkers well cared for. It's a flat layout, which unfortunatley doesn't make for many memorable holes. There is a road racing course adjacent to the golf course, which had racing on it the day I played. That really made it a unique experience.

Everything you would expect from a championship course
There is a big difference from a $35 course from a $120 one. This place was amazing. Well worth every penny.

Great resort course
Greens, fairways, tees and clubhouse are in great condition. Staff was helpful and friendly, if not a little too relaxed. Good mix of difficult and easier holes. Played whites one day and blues another: both appropriately challanging.

Golf Vacation to Georgia and South Carolina
On a Vacation from California, we played courses on Hilton Head Island SC as well as The Club at Savannah Harbor Located in Savannah Georgia. Our entire experience was much more than we expected. The friendliness of the people in the south, the food, the weather in late September and the golf. The Club at SH is a very well maintained course only a 10 minute easy drive from Historic Savannah. The value at this course as well as the other courses we played on our vacation was a pleasant surprise!

Great course, especially for the Hot Deals price!
Course was in great condition, pace was good for a public course and the staff is very friendly, especially outside services. They aim to PLEASE!

This course has many features to reward good shots and punish bad shots.
Golfing at the Harbor was great. Hit some good shots and not so good. The course itself was in great shape and weather was great also. I would refer this course highly and the staff was just as great as the course and the weather. Thanks and looking forward to taking my grandson there in a couple of weeks,

An excellent course
They had had a lot of rainfall and the course was very soggy. It was carts only on the cart paths for good reasons. Hardly anyone was on the course that day. The greens though were very playable and we had an enjoyable round. All staff was very friendly and stored our clubs for play the next day.
