Rain and sun Overall a great and difficult course. Wet conditions still prevail at this and mani other courses on north Georgia. Can't wait for the green to come back. March 24, 2014
I love this layout...beautiful mountain and lake Lanier views This is a must play golf course, the greens were punched two weeks ago, but they're in great shape. I've played out here about eight times and the greens have been great every time. I will definitely be back. March 12, 2014
Lovely setting The greens had just been punched, so we're sandy, but still rolling well. I will return in April/May to see the spring colors and green fairways. Highly recommend, good value, great location. March 3, 2014
Scenic Course I was pleasantly surprised that the course was in such good shape following the bad weather we had received. Course has challenging holes, lots of elevation changes, greens rolled true. Played on a weekday senior discount. Great value. February 19, 2014
Still Good It was cart path only, it was cold and high winds, February 9, 2014
Challenging but fun! Wet conditions made for additional challanges but course layout is scenic and will test your skill level.the course is hilly and plenty of blind drives to uphill greens.overall this is a fun track to play! February 4, 2014
wonderful course i loved the course, nice greens, nice layout, and great views November 24, 2013
Beautiful track; very good condition; FAST but true greens Discovered Chestatee during the summer and have played about 10 rounds there. Great track; lots of elevation changes and some pretty views of the mountains and Lake Lanier (17 is gorgeous from the tee box). Gotta play the course left of the 150 most of the time; it would be a tough course for big faders/slicers. Good tee box choices including a 6250 yard 'members' option (whites and blues) which I like. Greens lately have been as fast as any I've ever played on and they roll true. They are very firm; well struck approach shots will hold just fine, but you won't get any '1 bounce and check' pitches. For the most part, bunkers have plenty of sand. #8 is the #1 handicap hole; a long par 4 with water all along the right and a pond to cross about 30 yards in front of the green. It's a good test to see if you're playing from the proper tees. All in all, a very enjoyable course that doesn't seem to get that much play. A couple of Sundays ago I got in 36 in less than 6 hours, playing by myself and hitting 2 balls without having to wait very often. Maybe the best value of any of the 'north' courses.
