Bermuda Greens are like carpet
Fairways were in good shape given the wet winter, The greens were true and in good shape, but difficult to read at times with more slope than would be indicated by the rating. Also, the pin placements were difficult on the day we played. Very nice clubhouse. Concrete cartpaths could use a little attention.

Great Location-Great Greens-Tight
Trophy is one of our favorites because of the location and the greens and the prices we normally get for twilight. Their Bermuda greens are normally in very good shape. Once the grass goes from dormant to green it will be really nice. Fairways are brown and tight now until about mid April usually.

Beautifully laid out, a real gem.
Course is beautiful and plays nicely...never looked at a hole and thought it was going to kill me, but didn't think of any of them as easy either.

Challenging little course in need of TLC
Poor care of facility, terrible sections of cart path which needs to be removed and paved. (Some cart path sections potentially dangerous with sections of cement block displaced in an angle, and pointing upwards.) Nowhere to clean your shoes on the course, except, next to the pro-shop; they need to remember that mud sticks to your shoes when you are playing on a wet course. I do not believe I will be back anytime soon. Many other courses to play with better management.

Short but fairly tight course in the heart of Alpharetta.
This course is almost always in great shape, greens are usually true and quick. The dormant Bermuda greens were dark brown and from afar looked like sand or dirt (but they weren't). Although not pretty they rolled true and some were quick - even after some recent rains.
The blues only play 6000, but there are plenty of hills to make it challenging and some tight landing areas. There is a good mix of blues and tips that play 6500, a good challenge.
I like the course because it isn't in the extreme suburbs, is usually accessible for tee times and stays in nice shape. A nice course for the money.

Good course for seniors
The course is well maintained and is laid out well for all types of players. Comment based upon length of course and tee placement.

Tight course and makes you think about choice of clubs and direction
The greens.were in winter mode but fast and in good shape. They rolled true. Fairways and rough were also in winter mode but still in good shape.

fast greens
The course was in very good shape for this time of year, and the greens where in very fast and great condition.
Thanks TC of Atl for a great job!!!!

Played course in less than 3-hours, as it was late in the afternoon. Course is in great shape!

Fun course to play.
Not to long yet challenging fairways. Greens in great shape. Long bermunda on sides of fairways will swallow balls.

Fun Course
The course is in good shape. It is not an easy track by any means! You will be tested in all your game...Water, sand, tight fairways and challenging greens await you! We enjoyed it!

Beautiful parkland setting and elevation changes make this a fun course to play.
Beautiful parkland setting and elevation changes make this a fun course to play. The course is moderately challenging. A little local knowledge goes a long way as there are several holes where unseen hazards will affect club selection.
Of Interest: Each fairway entrance and exit is marked by two posts. Fairway center posts are also marked for front, middle or back pin location.

No Notice of Course Maintenance
I have played Trophy Club - Atlanta several times, and I usually have an enjoyable experience. However, i was a little miffed that the Club did not inform Golf Now that the greesn were being maintained. We arrived at the tenth tee (started on ten) and the starter tells us that the greens are all top-dressed with sand. The greens were un-puttable. If I had seen the Aeration or Maintence symbol on the GolfNow page, I would have opted to play somewhere yesterday. To say the least, the guys in my party were not happy.

Recommend Trophy Club
Trophy Club is a good course, with challenging holes for everyone. The course was well maintained and staff was friendly. Pace of play moved well and the layout of the course is good. I'd recommend this course for all golfers.

Fantastic condition
I played the entire year at this course. The conditioning was not very good beginning of the year but by the time fall came around, the greens were just fantastic. Great value for the course.

The saying is true...best greens in Alpharetta
This is a semi-private course in the heart of Alpharetta, GA and I play there at least once a month. Even on the hottest days in Atlanta, this course is always in good shape, including the greens. The course is not long nor difficult, and yardage is fairly well-marked for those that do not have GPS. It is evident that the grounds crew take great pride in the course. The practice facility could use better range balls - with new balls to be used by all, not just the club members.
P.S. I play more than once a month, but golfnow did not give an option that fit my category.

6 hr pace of play / Horrible customer service
I am not the type of person to ever fill out one of these reviews but felt the need due to the horrible experience we had. My dad was in town from Indiana so we decided to drive up to Trophy Club from Buckhead to play. It took just over 3 hours to play the front 9. There were 3 to 4 foursomes on the tee box for almost every hole. We had wait 5 to 20 minutes between every shot. We called the club house from the course on holes 3 and 7 and were told the Ambassadors are working on it. It was no help. Even the group behind us left after 6 holes. Several other groups around us had also called into clubhouse.
We decided to quite after 9 holes (as did the group in front of us). The clubhouse apologized for the extremely slow play and said they were doing their best to address. They offered us a free 9 hole voucher. This felt like a slap in the face after our experience. I requested a refund but they would not provide.
The course is nice and in good shape but I would not recommend this course to anyone due to pace of play and poor customer service in the clubhouse.

Some of the best Bermuda greens in ATL!
Shorter course - should play blue, gold or combo tees. You have to use all your clubs. Greens are surprisingly fast for Bermuda & in great shape.

Great Course Nice Track
Your scale goes from Maintained to Pristine. While the course is in very good condition Pristine can only be awarded to very few. The staff is very friendly & again your scale offers either cordial to Super friendly. They have a very good staff. It is a fun & fair course. I'll play it again often as they always do a good job with the course.

Always Reliable
I enjoy playing here a lot. The course is always in good shape and the staff is always welcoming. The course itself has a great mixture of tough, risk/reward, and challenging holes. I really enjoy finishing each nine with a Par 5.

A challenging course
The course is in good shape. Greens are in excellent shape. A couple of holes are unfair. One hole has a tree in the fairway that could penalize a good shot.
September 23, 2012
Fun course
The greens are undulated which require good shots.

I love the greens!
Great course, good staff, love the greens!
Will play it again and again.
