This course boasts an interesting, mid-length layout that places more emphasis on accuracy and a deft short game than power. Just 6,775 yards from the gold tees and a modest 6,000 from the blues, this Steve Melnyk design has only a handful of par 4s with appreciable length, with several barely exceeding 300 yards from the blues.

Located in the beautiful, unspoiled farm countryside just north of Alpharetta, Trophy Club of Atlanta is carved out of heavily wooded terrain to create a challenging yet playable course. Now featuring Champion Bermuda greens, Trophy Club of Atlanta is one of best conditioned courses in metro Atlanta. Nominated as Golf Digest's "Best New Public Course" when opened in 1992, it was designed by DJ DeVictor and ABC-TV Golf Analyst Steve Melnyk. Measuring 6,774 yards from the championship tees, it offers multiple tee locations for every skill level.

Practice on the club’s chipping green, or buy the latest merchandise at the Pro Shop.

Sunday morning round The pro shop was late opening up but the way it was handled by the staff was good. They let those of us with early tee times (before 7 am) out on carts and was able to finish round and go in to pay afterward. The pro shop manager apologized and discounted round, it was classy the way it was handled and for that reason I would recommend the course and will be back. May 18, 2015
Beware I really like Trophy Club and play there several times a year. Be careful right now....its not in great shape. The tee boxes are absolutely horrible and not all the fairways have good coverage at the moment. The greens were aerated recently and are still quite bumpy. If you get a discounted rate, I'd say its worth your time.....but I would not pay full rates until things improve significantly. May 17, 2015
Greens and tee boxes where terrible Most of the tee boxes were dirt or dirt with some patchy grass. The greens were very slow and very grainy. When you hit the ball, you could hear the ball roll on the grass. It looked like old style Bermuda grass that was past its prime. Fairways and rough were ok. There was still some dormant grass, but that should expected with the weather we had in April. Also the range mats were old and need to be replaced but the range balls were good. May 4, 2015
Need tee boxes Course in good condition except the tee boxes. Greens were ok but had an airation about two weeks ago. Made them slow. The greens had nice collars. May 4, 2015
Tee boxes need lots of work Overall, the course was in good shape, but I bumped it down to average because the tee boxes were that bad. About half of them were just straight dirt / sand and the other half had small patches of grass in a corner. The greens were in great shape and the fairways were solid. Trophy club isn't a cheap course (almost $80 after range balls and taxes) so I was disappointed that the tee boxes were in such bad shape, but other than that the course was nice. I'll play here again. April 16, 2015
Trophy club Great greens. Played after a rain storm so the course was still very wet. I will returem April 12, 2015
Great greens The greens were in excellent shape, probably the best they'll be all year. Paid $35, exactly what it should cost. Heard it's much more in the summer time, wouldn't be worth it though. March 28, 2015
Poor Condition Course was in terrible condition and really should not be open for play in its present condition. March 26, 2015
