Maintenance Needed
Some maintenance is needed around the course. It might be due to the recent weather but the greens & around the greens were in very bad shape. The fairways were okay but & could be chalked up to dormant grass.

Better than expected
I played River Pines for the first time and enjoyed the layout of the course. The Blue tees are a challenging distance to hazards. Driver, 3 iron or hybrid off the tees? Nice driving range and friendly staff. I'm looking forward to playing here again.

Great Golfing Experience
These guys know how to treat folks. First class. It was a busy day as expected - Good Friday, 68 degrees. The staff really keep things moving despite being packed. I have played longer rounds on less crowded courses. Fun course to play as well. Plenty of water. Great scenery along the 'hooch as well. Highly recommend. Every course in Atlanta should treat their patrons this well.

Challenging layout, very wet
The course had a challenging layout with lots of opportunity for trouble. The course was very wet making it play longer. Most balls stopped right where they landed. Greens need some attention. I'm certain by summer the course will be in fine shape. Enjoyed seeing 6 deer and a beautiful red tailed hawk!
Not being a long ball hitter made the course particularly difficult in wet conditions. No distance on drives and no roll to green. Puddles and sogginess made for difficult lies.

Great neighborhood course. Greens need work. Sand traps need to be refilled to standards. Tee boxes little chewed up. Track lays out well an has pote.

Nice layout, fun to play, not too difficult, good condition!
Played in Feb. so didn't expect too much but was pleasantly surprised at the condition of the top seeded winter greens. Looks like they have cut back and cut down a lot of brush and tree's this winter. Overall I like playing here and the pace of play is normally very good. Club house has a nice bar area and pretty good food.

good value for for an enjoyable round; great practice facilities
Well laid out course, good value for for an enjoyable, scenic round. Great practice facilities including a cool 9 hole short par 3 side.

Truly a best buy. 5 stars
We played with 2 regular golfers--Dick and Dave--who helped us through out the afternoon. The starter gave an excellent overview and informed us of current local conditions. The young men who handled our bags and wiped down our clubs were professional and friendly. We will definately come back. A top rat1ed organization.

Enjoyed this course
I played here for the first time and really enjoyed it. The course was in pretty good condition and the staff was extremely friendly. It's a rather short and easy layout but with a lot of water/creeks..being along the Chattahoochee. The tee boxes and greens were in really good shape and overall had a great time. Would surely recommend this course.

Great price for location, condition, overall layout, and facilities.
The course is in a great setting boarding the Chattahoochee and has a wide variey of terrains. My only complaint is that a couple of holes are too quirky, such as #18 that is simply awkard and doesn't fit in. Practice facilities and the clubhouse are excellent with reasonably priced beer and food.

Great course
I play at least once a week in metro Atlanta and this course never lets me down. Greens are always in good shape and so are the fairways and tee boxes. Very fun track with some quirky holes that require tough mid iron play.

One of my Favorites!
I always enjoy playing River Pines. The course is in excellent condition with perfect greens cut to run pretty fast the day I played. Always a great day with the Chattahoochee river and plenty of nature to observe (Deer, Hawks, etc.) A perfect golf day!

Great place to play for the price
A course you can't overpower with a few quirky holes that require long irons off the tee. Greens are in good shape and are very fast. Bunkers could use a bit more sand.

Beautiful course with a nice layout.
I would recommend River Pines. It is a challenging course with lots of trees and nice greens.

River Pines is a good value. It has some challening holes. the course is typically good shape. Marshall's keep it moving. I have not run into too many players who arent serious about the play and that keeps play moving and fun. For a public course, i recommend it.

Good layout with nice variation of topography.
Well maintained and excellent overall facility. WE ENJOYED OUR ROUND AND PLAN TO PLAY THIS COURSE AGAIN.

Decent track but a little overpriced.
This golf course is more of a shot makers course. It is not long and you can get away with never hitting a driver the whole round without penalty at all. The greens are decent when the weather is ok. Overall it's a decent course, but a little overpriced due to a lack of other courses in its proximity.

Very good staff
A good course in a good location. Course is maintained well with a good driving range, chipping green, and putting green. There is also a sand trap available for practice.
Good course for all levels of play. Heavy traffic means the course is not in great condition, but they do a good job given the amount of play.
