Conveniently located on the West side of Orlando right off the Turnpike, Stoneybrook West offers one of Orlando's best tests of golf and Central Florida's finest greens. Seeded with Tif-Eagle, our greens are legendary for their speed and their true rolling surfaces.

Stretching out to a beastly 7,101 yards from the back tees, but with three other sets of tees for those not up to the challenge of the PGA Tour, Stoneybrook West allows each golfer to decide just how much of a challenge they want to take. The 18-hole, 72-par course has a 74.8 rating and 135 slope.

Great course with competitive rates! Found excellent rates for this course that meanders through a nice residential community. We were the 1st group to tee off so our pace for 18 holes was excellent. Not sure what happened to the group playing behind us, but they were at least two holes behind by the end of the round. Fairways were in average condition, but the course appears to be struggling with grab grass on some holes, not that it mattered for my round today. Water and bunker placement make this an enjoyable but somewhat challenging course. There were very few distance markers visible on the fairways or tee off blocks,, so a GPS would help. Greens were in excellent condition, and very fast! Nice clubhouse facility. January 22, 2015
Fair Extreame backup delay bacause carts were not available, supposily bacause the carts did not charge overnight. The tee time was at 2 PM. I was disappointed that they dont have GPS or reflectors in the flag sticks. January 21, 2015
Local Favorite I've played Stoneybrook West (SBW) many times. It is a great course. The overall conditions were not up to the norm for SBW. The fairways are pretty rough right now. Now sure why. Course is really battling weeds in the fiarways. Worse that I have seen it in years. I hope they get it fixed. Greens were in excellent shape. Fast and deadly as usual. SBW is still a great value for the price and I'd play it again in a heartbeat. January 21, 2015
Foreign Grasses The greens are generally good but some are quite beaten up but the fairways have a lot of foreign grasses and there is a lot of weeds . Not as good as it was in the past and hasn't improved since I played a few months ago and was very disappointed at that time on the poor condition. Also no ranger seen in 2nd nine and the group in front of us was at least 2-3 holes behind and would not wave us through !!! January 21, 2015
good value thru golf now played the course for the second time, enjoyed it as much if not more than the first time. This is a good track that needs a bit of conditioning improvement particularly the traps ,but is a good value overall. As a 19 handicapper I appreciated the large landing areas but recognize the shot making required to score well, particularly from the Blue tees. Fairways have a lot of crossing bunkers, a bit of old school design that I like. January 20, 2015
Great course, but overbooked Good: Fun course, greens are in good repair, and well manicured. Lots of sand and water hazards which help for challenging play. Open areas, not a lot of woods to lose your ball in either. Bad (and ugly rolled into one): Signed up for two of us to play and ended up having to wait in line at the 1st hole with other people waiting for a cart. Also got put with another pair of people we didn't know so they (the course) could keep their schedule. Tee time at 12:15, didn't get on the first box till 12:40 or so. Cart died on the 12th hole as they didn't have time to recharge it. Heard from others that it's generally not that over booked, but probably won't go back anytime soon because of that experience. strange day arrived early to hot some balls , noticed a lot of people standing about, no carts. the place was going crazy , people trying to get carts to make there tee time , I though I would adjourn to the driving range and sort it later - no range balls, had to just go and sit and have a coffee, eventually after 30 minutes we got a cart and actually the pace of play was not terrible. Course has been let go a bit recently I guess that's why the price was good , but the place is heaving with people , all after a good price at this difficult time of year. i'll give it a miss for the rest of the season unless I cant find a deal elsewhere. slow play play was very slow. Tee time was missed by 20 minutes because of fog they said. I think it was because of too many tee times too close together. January 20, 2015
