The Great Outdoors course is owned and operated by Senior PGA Tour major winners Larry Laoretti and Tom Wargo. The jewel of The Great Outdoors Resort is its on-site 18-hole golf course, which plays 6,542 yards from the championship tees. The Great Outdoors Golf Club is the perfect blend of magnificent golf holes sculpted in the beautiful nature of the St. John's wildlife.
Providing a stimulating challenge to all levels of golfers, the course is meticulously maintained. The course is complemented by paved cart paths, picturesque wooden bridges that span the wetlands (instead of draining or filling them), white-sand bunkers and numerous water hazards.
