Cold but fun...
Course is in good shape, tee boxes are level and kept very clean. Real challenge on this course are the greens which are pretty hard and and faster then expected. It was low 60's and windy so the course was definitely tough and the ground was pretty hard. Overall though, great course and i'll definitely be playing again, especially in the off season whens its warmer and cheaper

Lots of water and challenges but very nice course
I found this course very challenging but very enjoyable. I lost several balls in various waters but it only made me want to play again and do better. I saw many types of birds that added to the courses beauty. Very good pace on the front nine but caught up with a couple groups on the back nine that slowed us a bit but still a decent pace, better than other courses in the area. I got a great deal from Golfnow and gave the course a try and was very happy I did.

Nice
this is a very nice course, there is only one minus, and that is that you most expect the wait on every sigle tee, due to to many people on course at the same time. But the course is very nice

Very Impressed
Nice layout, small, firm greens. Course has very nice fairways, was great to hit off tight grass. Would recommend this course, and with the golfnow price I paid it was a real treat!!

challenging course, good condition
nice course, liked the surroundings (every fairway isn't lined with houses like some), and I thought it was really tough. bunkers galore. Went in early march and very surprised there was hardly anyone there, never waited once on any hole, although it was about 50 degrees and 25mph winds.

Great deal of different obsticales
The staff are super friendly,especially the starter. The coarse is in great shap. Great bar and dining area after the round

Upscale environment for the same price if a public track.
This is one of two private clubs that converted to public a fews years back. It is a fun, entertaining track with high level of maintenance. Lounge and dining areas are also hard pass up. Can't beat the price for the quality of play.

Nice fairways, good rolling greens.
Fairways are very green and well maintained. greens roll very well, ended up using putter from about 5-10 ft off green so it wouldn't roll off. some staff was not quite helpful and alil rude. there was no starter and it was a mess to tee off. but after the fact and on the course, great time, good, tough course.

Course has several challenging water holes
The course has a good layout and pleasing to the eye. The play was slower on the day played, and a marshall should have been available to speed slow players. Traffic noise was somewhat disturbing on about 6 holes.

Good golf
Again this year, we enjoyed the course. well maintained & good to play. Disappointed to see price increase from 2011. Very friendly staff. If you have not played this course, do yourself a favor & play it.

Greens have been in great shape
Was a busy day, slow groups , but managed to get in a full round. The greens have been excellent lately, fairways and tee boxes in nice shape and well marked. Don't want to make iot sound too good, because I won't be able to get on. it is close to me and easy to get too.

Friendly staff, good greens.
Have not played this course in over a year and it is much improved. The staff was very friendly and professional. Greens were in good shape. Some wear on the course where carts leave the cart path but the course looks well maintained and pace of play was good at 4 hours. I would play again as the layout requires some thought off the tee to leave good angles into pins.

January 5 2013 Surprise !!
Crescent Oaks is an upscale residential Golf Course that is very tough if you do not hit straight ... most residential courses are narrow and thus playing the fairway is a must or trouble is coming your way ... I lost a dozen golf balls however I am not a bad golfer. I really liked the course and was glad I played it finally .

Would love to play this course again. As a first time player
I can see myself shaving a few strokes just on course knowledge. Lot's of fun and try it.

quirky holes, tight, scruffy greens, muddy sand traps
tight layout, scruffy greens, muddy sand traps--you are asking a lot from the tee"where and how far do I hit this shot?" One of my least favorite layouts North of Tampa.

Course is difficult from back tees in that the driving areas are pretty tight.
Course was in good shape, though the greens were inconsistent as some were plugged recently while others were not. Fairways and tees in great shape. Course is very tight with several holes running parallel to homes. Practice range, chipping green and putting green in good shape with good practice balls. Great value at $17. Fairly priced at $30.

Friendly staff ..nice pace of play
Got a good price for the round on Golf Now. The course was in pretty good condition...but had recently overseeded....so greens a little bumpy. The fairways were in good shape. Staff was very friendly.

course is nice to play and setup of tee boxes are good
the only problem I had was that on the tenth hole the starter let a foursome and threesome out. which solowed our game down. I was a twosome and was our real early in the morning second twosome when the sun rose. end result was I had to skip 2 holes becauseof time. Other than that it was a great exoerience.

Good everyday course
Was surprised by the unexpected aeration of greens as not noted when booked. Temporary greens are never appreciated but when not in this condition very nice layout with quick suttle breaking greens.

Excellent course, excellent greens.
A great course with a challange for all golfers.
Greens in great condition though most of them are small and difficult to hit. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Better than many.
Crescent Oaks is a good round of golf. The opening par 4 hole asks you to hit over water twice! The course has some excellent variations and no two holes resemble each other. Many holes are lined with swampland/forests so staying on or near fairways is a must. Numerous water hazards, and bunkers test your shot making ability. The fairways were in real good shape and the greens were green and well maintained. Good shots are rewarded, most errant shots come with penalties. Bring a few exrta golf balls!!
