Great place to play Greens were punched about three to four weeks ago and have returned to good summer condition. Some of the fairways were spotty but were playable for the most part. This is one of my favorite courses to play year round. Summer is always a challenge for most Florida courses, but these folks keep it in above average condition. As a plus the staff are very player friendly. June 22, 2014
Great Course The greens were great and everybody was helpfull and friendly. Check this course out for a fun time June 18, 2014
Update 11 June 14 I last played this course two months ago and the greens were almost lost. Today I'd say they are OK. Appeared to be airated a week ago or so and are growing in pretty nice. Good course for the 3 PM hotdeal price. When checking in I've seen the same guy quite a few times and he always asks what's the GOLFNOW price. I tell him the truth and ask him if I'm paying too much. Nomrally I think I'm getting a great deal. $12 today, how can that be beat? June 11, 2014
Good enough to bring me back a second time First visit to this property and clearly it is the best of the public courses on that stretch of road. While there was nothing really special about the layout itself, there's enough in the course design to keep things interesting. One hole may have a bunker in a key spot off the tee, another may have a forced carry over water to the green and certainly #12 has an enormous tree down the left side of the fairway that must be respected or there is no chance to reach the green in regulation. According to the staff member I spoke to before going out, the course had been punched about three weeks ago and greens were above average. A number of tee boxes and some areas of the fairways were pretty scorched so there weren't many pristine hitting lies on approach shots. Maybe it was just my luck, but it seemed like every other player out there with me on this particular day was exceptionally fast. There were a number of singles, but usually I do not even play a full 18 in an hour and 45 minutes. Perhaps everyone was just in a hurry to beat the rain, which threatened all afternoon but held off until I was on the road home. Just keep in mind that if you do play on a weekday afternoon, leaving after 5pm and turning left our of the gate is next to impossible with all the rush hour traffic. That was literally the ONLY time that I sat and waited at Crescent Oaks. June 11, 2014
Excellent course This course is scenic as well as challenging. The staff is friendly as well as knowledgeable. We saw quite a bit of wildlife dear ducks birds turtles. Courses and great shape I would recommend it to anyone. June 2, 2014
Crescent Oaks I liked the set up of the course. A good mixture of some short ones that you should score well on, Some well placed sand traps. May 28, 2014
Crescent Oaks The fairways were in reasonable shape but the greens were horribly slow, choppy and not well maintained. I will not play it again. May 28, 2014
Hire a groundskeeper. Course layout is interesting. It is either feast or famine with some very short par 4's and then some monster 440 plus ones as well. Plenty of trouble with some good forced carries from the back tees. Overall course condition is fair to bad depending on the hole but basically bad. There are courses in the area in much better shape. A fivesome of members refused to let our twosome of under 10 handicappers through. Not going back in the near future. May 26, 2014
