Rocky Point Golf Course
Rocky Point is “a great course for a pleasurable round of golf.” The 18 hole, par 71 course is located just outside of Tampa and only a 15 minute drive from Tampa International Airport. With 6,328 yards from the back tee, each round is challenging for all skill levels. Sand and water are frequent during play with many of the course’s lakes serving as a wildlife habitat as well as a bird sanctuary.
Visit the Clubhouse to lounge before or after your round. Go shopping for the newest golf merchandise at the Pro Shop. Quench your thirst or hunger at the snack bar/drink cart. Practice your swing at the Shag Range.
Perhaps Rocky Point’s most unique feature proves to be its nearly 100 year history. Opening its greens for the first time in 1911, the course was one of the first in Florida.
