Old Memorial Golf Club 5 5 1 1
When invited to play here, there's not a valid reason to pass it up For the last couple years, I've played at Old Memorial in a fundraising tournament for Lowry Park Zoo. The people at the zoo run excellent special events and this one is very well done. Old Memorial is a nice host for this and other similar events (such as the Derrick Brooks Golf Tournament) and makes all the participants feel like members for a day. Forecaddies/caddies are solid guys while the course itself plays difficult but rewards accurate shotmaking. While I will never be a member at Old Memorial, I respect the property and take advantage of any opportunity to go out there and play either in a charity event or simply as a guest. May 16, 2013
