Not quite pristine but close
Very nice course. Decent challenging layout. Fairways well carpeted. Greens fast & true. Battery powered carts w/ windshields/rain cover in bag for bags. Will play again.

target golf can't use driver on every hole
lots of sand and water. think before you hit, or you will loose a
ball. greens are medium speed not too sloped. great course for the money

Good challenge on the back nine.
The only negatives would be some bunker conditions need work and too many ball marks not repaired.

Beautiful Course
This is the best course that I have played in the Tampa Bay area. Next time I will bring my camera, every hole is beautiful.

Great course
Course is in good shape and the greens are quick. There is quite a bit of water to deal and lots of sand traps. Accuracy is very important.

Course offers 2 distinct 9 hole courses, Front long wide open, back shorter and unique holes with target fairways!
Fun course to play! Employees treat you well with a smile! I was paired with a twosome that was extremely slow. Not the courses fault

Pristine conditions, fast pace of play, friendly staff. excellent food.
The course layout is through a housing development. Most holes are visually pleasing with a definite shot shape. The bailouts are large. The greens are not overly fast but have slope chages that are challenging. The bunkers are well placed but need to be maintained better.Sand depth is not consistent.
Good value for the money.

This is a well maintained and well manicured course I play every time I visit this area.
This course is in excellent condition, especially for the price from Golf Now and during the high price season. The greens are excellent and the sand traps well maintained. Staff personnel are very friendly.

Nice option in Sun City
I got this course for less than the normal $55 posted. Half the staff was super friendly and the other half was moderate. I found the course to be in very good shape. I enjoyed the layout as well.
One thing to keep in mind is that the driving range is 1/2 mi S at the Sandpiper GC.

Course is in great shape!
I played this yesterday for $21 and I will admit It was in the best shape I have ever seen. I played this course a couple of times a few years ago and was impressed how it looks now. Greens were in perfect shape and rolling at a good speed. The fairways were like carpet and just green and full of life. I had the course to myself and enjoyed every bit of it. You won't be disappointed so give the Renaissance Club a try. Staff was very friendly as well and very helpful.

Good value for money. Extremely well maintained.
Have been playing this course for years on my winter visits to Sun City Center, Fl. Of late it has become rather pricey for my kind of play but enter GolfNow and I can now pick some decent prices and tee times.

GREAT COURSE at GREAT PRICE
First time playing the course (Dec 2012) and found it in great condition. The Hot Deal I got on GolfNow was a steal!! Will definitely try to play it again. The only complaint was the hot dog I got from the restaurant. It really sucked. But, the staff was great and the course beautiful. If you get the deal with free range balls, know that the range is about 1.5 miles away on another course. Weird! Couldn't use it because I didn't have the time to drive the cart there and back and still make my tee time.

This course is always in very good condition.
The course plays pretty easy from the white and blue tees but can get much harder as you move back to the burgundy or gold.
Choose the right tee and you'll enjoy it!

Stil the best
How can you say anything bad about Club Renaissance. Bob and his staff do a great job and the course has been in immaculate shape lately. Bring back the frequent player card and e-mail specials... What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon

Outstanding. it was a shot gun day all started at 8:33a
It was unbelievable that we completed the game within 4 hrs 4 mins. The parking lot was full. However the play rolled great - you reached your tee box and the team in front was putting or walking off. The course was GREEN!!

The course allow us to pick the correct set of tees to fix our handy cap and game we had a grate game.
The staff was super friendly to start with, given us a very good feeling. the marshal was very good and new the course to help with some good pointers of the course. We had lunch and was very impressed was the food and service.

The staff was very professional and friendly. The club house is beautiful. The course is well maintained. Beautiful course, great track, challenging and fun. The greens were in great shape. Highly recommend you play this course. I'll definitely play again!!

Tale of two nines.
Front nine relatively wide open, back nine more challenging, tighter fairways requiring more accuracy. Greens in great shape (October). Several sets of tees to challenge all golfers. No GPS on carts.

Multiple friendly tee boxes, we played from the tips
A good challenge from the tips. Course condition was very good considering the amount of rain we have had and the greens had been aerated 10 days earlier. Due to soft conditions the course played long. One suggestion, the 7th hole a par 3 played 222 yds into the wind from a tee box with no view of the green. Eliminate that back teebox!

Club Renaissance is one of the best I've played in Tampa Bay area.
I've played a lot of very nice golf courses both public and private and The Club Renaissance is one that repeats playing. Great fairways, smooth greens, excellent drainage and suitable for all handicaps. Club house and pro shop are first class.

Diamond in the rough
There are many courses in the greater Sun City / Ruskin / Apollo Beach area that make you wonder why you paid money to play there. But this course is like none of the other daily fee courses in the area. It is the best daily fee course in the area. the club house is very nice, with shelves of pro line equipment. The staff is super friendly; my son and i played there for the first time, and they took the time to show us around and even lead us by cart out to the first tee when we got lost. This type of customer service goes a long way. Can't wait to play here again!
My only suggestion to improve the experience is to bring a yardage book/rangefinder/gps/laser. There are quite a few forced carries, fairway bunkers and doglegs that unless you've played here before, you're not really sure where to hit to and lay up to which can make for a frustrating round.
