Oak Ford Golf Club
Oak Ford Golf Club, a Florida Country golf course, is part of an 850 acre nature preserve. Designed by world class Architect, Ron Garl, the three 9-hole courses wind through Live Oak, Myrtle, and Palm Forests skirting ponds, swamps and marshes. All levels of play are challenged in a mix of doglegs, tight impenetrable woodland borders, and wetland carries. The emphasis at Oak Ford is based on skill over raw power.
Distractions at Oak Ford include Deer, Bobcats, Otters, Foxes, Alligators, Possums, Wild Pigs, and the occasional Florida Black Bear. Prepare to come face-to-face with Sandhill Cranes as tall as you, plus varieties of Hawks and Native Birds.
Oak Ford Golf Club's 27-holes bring water into play 16 times, with 'carries' required on 7 occasions. Each 9-Hole Course plays from four sets of tees.
