Great turnaround in course Course is in excellent condition. Greens are in very good shape and will improve with warmer weather. The changes made in the course has made it a beautiful course that I would recommend to anyone. Pace of play has been normal for any golf course (3 1/2 to 4 hours for 18 holes). The staff is very cordial and accommodating. With the new golf carts, and the improvents to the course it is well worth the price. Would recommend highly. April 15, 2014
Lots of water! The course was in excellent shape from tee to green. Greens were slow but still enjoyable. Staff was friendly and pace of play was great. Bring plenty of golf balls since water comes into play on 16 holes. April 15, 2014
Better Than Most!! First played this course on New Years Eve and really liked it. Pace of play was a little slow but we were a 2some playing behind all 4 and 5somes so that was expected. Finally made it back down there about a month ago and have now played it 4-5 times since. The course is in great shape. GREENS are awesome. Better than the 5-6 courses I normally play. April 15, 2014
Tee time? Haha No use in scheduling a tee time on Saturday/Sunday morning cause Cimmarone has the recurring pattern of double and triple booking the SAME tee time. Pulled up to the 1st tee about 5 minutes before my scheduled tee time - there were ~15 people (not part of one big group) waiting to tee off. Totally unacceptible. Asked the starter if my twosome could start on 10. He said "No!". Even more unacceptible. The starter relented and allowed a few people to start on 10. Cimmarone needs to stop double/triple booking the same tee time. I can't be any more direct than that. April 13, 2014
New owners have really turned it around Played Cimarrone yesterday for the first time this year and was pleasantly surprised. I almost didn't recognize the place as they have cleaned out all of the old underbrush and bushes along the water and planted new palm trees. The greens last year were almost dead and in terrible shape but the new superintendent has performed magic in just a short time. They have filled in almost completely and while some are a little slow, are greatly improved and can only get better. The fairways are in great shape too, just can't say enough about the changes going on. The staff seemed friendly enough and service was good. I will definitely be coming back soon and bringing friends. April 11, 2014
Enjoyed the course Had a great time playing. Course was in good condition, pace was good, and it was just challenging enough for me. April 7, 2014
Always a challenge It's good to see Cimmarone coming along so well after its recent sale. The greens, while not perfect, are still in much better shape than in years past and the course conditions are good overall. This course is one of the more challenging in the Jacksonville area for one reason -- water! You have to know your distances and be willing to take a 3-wood or hybrid off the tee in some places if you want to score well. On ther other hand, be ready to hammer the driver on some holes if you want any chance of making par. Keep up the good work, Cimmarrone! April 7, 2014
excellet service thru the golf course and in the clubhouse!!! Greens where too slow, everything else was Nice, definitely recommend this course April 5, 2014
