A very scenic course worth playing.
Can be very challenging but fun. Choose a tee box that fits your game. Course is in great shape but the greens are a little rough. I would play it again.

Rainy Day Course Held up great
We had 2 inches of rain the morning we played and the course drained well and the greens were not slow. The greens had some brown patches that need repair but generally the course is fine

Good layout, challenging design.
Course is generally in satisfactory condition, but the greens have been under construction for 1 1/2 years. They are bumpy, uneven, and have bare patches

Very Good layout,, Greens were a little bumpy and fairways sparse but playable.
Nice layout with water in play on most holes. The greens are well protected by well placed bunkers.
I played the whites and the course is moderately difficult but you cn get into trouble fast if you spray the ball.
The course conditions were fair.
The fairways and greens were in fair shape with many bare spots probably due to the time of year(early spring).

The greens are in horrible condition!
The greens were horrible! if you like playing on dirt and divots on the green and watching your ball bounce around then it's just for you! I would rather pay $40 across the street than deal with those conditions. Plus they book t times every 7 minutes so its a 5 hr round.

Greens need lots of work.
The fairways were in good shape but the greens were horrible. It was like putting on gravel. After a hop, skip and jump, the ball might stop somewhere in the vicinity of the hole.

GREENS
This course had the worst customer service that I have experienced in a very long time. This gentlemen acted as if a question was out of the question. The course fairways were in decent shape but the greens were one word TERRIBLE. With me being from GA I thought this would be a great experience to play a nice course. The greens are the most important part of the course and these greens are really not playable at all. These greens need major work and until it is done, this course should not be played. Booked on golfnow so I would have lost my money but I lost money either way.

Greens in transition; good layout; decent length!
Had heard that the greens were poor...but went anyway (first time for local golfers). Glad we did. Every course goes through tough periods; would suggest that there be better pin placements on front 9 - offer better-sized, good, green grass and roll spots.
Will play again in anticipation that greens will return to normal. Keep at it! Delayed maintenance is obvious.

Good value for the cost
The greens need work. Fairways and Tee boxes are great. Course design needs to be altered.

Course has great features for a challenge.
The player must be able to place the ball on most shots. I wish I was a better player so I could strategically play the course--lots of water & water.

Interesting course. Greens had many unrepaired ballmarks and should be faster.
Numerous water hazards and fairways framed by undulating surfaces make the game interesting. Greens need to be faster. Ballmarks need to be repaired. In the first place this is the players' responsibility, but the staff needs to enforce it.

The greens need work.
I had a fun time with an old friend. The course was tough for an
old duffer like me,and I play from the Senior tees now.
It was golf. It was fun, and that's all that matters given my skill level. The condition of the greens I'm sure will improve.

Horrible
This course is terrible! The greens are in horrible shape. Your ball literally bounces instead of rolls. Every hole has rolling hills, which wouldn't be bad if the course wasn't in better shape. The course was so packed that there were literally 4-5 groups on each hole. I would not recommend this course to anyone and would not play it again; at least not until it could be confirmed that this course had major improvements.

Would like to play here if the pace wasn't so slow.
The staff does not care if you are happy with their course or not. The starter is not friendly. The person in the club house is not at all interested or caring about the "long" duration of play. The time required to play this very slow pace is the reason we hesitate to play here any more.

This course has great variety.Course condition good with exception of fungus problem on greens.. Makes putting somewhat difficult.
Cimmerone is an attractive water challenged golf venue with one minor problem. The greens are mottled and quite slick. This however,does not seriously detract from the overall pleasant play experience.I reccomend Cimmerone to the serious golfer.R Van Zandt.

Every green was in terrible condition. They were very marginably playable. The course should probably be closed for repair.

Temp Greens need to go
Greens are mending. Temp greens are horrible. Still worth the $17 I paid. Hopefully the temps will be gone the next time I go. Will keep you posted.

Easy wide open course
This is a good course. I like the layout. There was a disease of some kind on all of the greens which made it almost impossible to sink a putt.

this course double books tee times
greens where not in very good shape at all, they doubled booked tees and when we came around the turn we had to what 30 minutes to tee off ten, they put 3 foursomes in front of us.. this was the longest round of golf I have every played. Went to let the pro shop know about this disaster and he was very rude and condescending, he said he will not apologize for double booking tee times and we were just out of luck.

Had to give it 1 star as the fairways were in good shape!
Might want to wait until they figure out how to maintain the greens. It's been two months since I'd played the course and the greens are still miserable. Can't believe they charge people to playing greens like these. Where they tried to fix greens they moved holes up to the fairway and cut the grass really short but have no indication as the distance from tee and te greens they did cut were 8 foot circles. Won't be going back for a while with better courses all around me for similar prices.

Lots of water, so if you slice or hook, be prepared to have a few extra balls. Great course lined by beautiful homes.

Pace of Play Painfully Slow
Played here on Saturday and the pace of play was brutal. There definitely needs to be a ranger managing play as several holes took nearly 30 minutes to complete. I understand weekends are busy but 30 minutes is not acceptable.
On another note, greens are improving little by little. There are 4 temp greens in use at the moment which lessens the value of this course a bit. Otherwise, Cimarrone is still in good shape.

Course needs work
Went out for a 9:00 am tee time. All of the greens are in terrible shape. There were five greens that were being reseeded, with those holes having temporary greens. There was no notice prior to or during play to indicate this. One of these temporary holes appeared to be a modified sand trap. The other 13 greens suffered from dirt patches over many parts of the green. The course is also very challenging. There an over abundance of hills, creating 'craters' and many difficult lies. Lots of water on this course too. Be careful of losing balls.
