Nice course Greens are fast and challenging. I like the tiers in the greens. April 10, 2014
This course had excellent greens. The course was in good condition and the greens were true and very fast. Putting was a challenge, as it should be. Loved playing here. Will again. April 8, 2014
Put on Your Track Shoes The greens were very fast. It was easy to putt through the breaks. However, once I settled in it was very managable. The wind picked up as the round went on adding a bit of a challenge to the signature Par 3 15th hole. The staff, as always, was friendly and helpful. The rough was a bit beat up but I guess that is why you are supposed to hit the ball in the fairway. Overall, it was a great time. Looking forward to getting back out there soon. April 7, 2014
Best bang for the buck ! Our only regret , is that we didn't find your course last January . we are from NW Wisconsin . Your golf course reminds us of the course we play and live on .Your staff is very friendly and accommodating . There just one little negative. When we were getting our cart there was member , and I only say this because he had his own cart . He look at us and said , I can't wait when these snowbirds go home so we can have the courses back. I did not reply. His cart was a mossy oak camo . We are members at a golf course in NW Wisconsin . Our members welcome the the outside revenues . No big deal , we'll still come back and play you course , April 5, 2014
Good Value at $25 Was down visiting Tampa for work and wanted to knock some of the winter rust off. Found summerfield and for $27 i figured i would give them a shot. Course was exactly what i expected for that price....not pristine but far from a goat ranch...greens rolled very nice (and lets face it thats all that really matters). i would recommend this course if you can get on to ride for under $ that price its a good value course March 31, 2014
Good course Great value, beautiful course. Had a great round of golf. March 30, 2014
Good enough to play again It's a pretty good course. I played the back tees-card says 6900+yards but I honestly don't believe it! felt more like 6700 or so, so if you are 240+ off the tee! play the tips or you are hitting irons off every tee. The conditions were more than acceptable. The greens were quicker than they looked. The greens were also goofy..lots of ridges and shelves...distance control is very important. I would recommend a round there to anyone that's never played it. March 21, 2014
Love this place. Course is a great value, $25. We had a tee time of 2:15pm and were paired up with a group of three (one was not playing). It was a father, son, and son. The little guy was about six and just rode along. So the course is obviously family friendly, I plan on taking my little one next time. The food in the club house was good enough, on par with a bowling alley, cheap and unhealthy, just how I like it. Our waitress was also tending the bar, she did a great job juggling all the customers. The lady driving around the course with refreshments was very friendly and attentive. This is the second time I have played here, never felt rushed or held up while playing and will play here again in the future. Just be aware, the greens are super tough on this course, at least for us. I felt like I was playing at the masters........... BTW, look out for the gators in the summer! March 16, 2014
