The "Mighty" Oaks Championship Course is considered by many as one of the top layouts in all of Florida. This original Fazio design was renovated in 1998 and restored to its original luster by Fazio Design, Inc. The Oak's true and smooth greens are carpeted with Tif Eagle turf, the newest and finest strand of Bermuda grass grown in Florida today. The 'Mighty' Oaks has long history of hosting such prestigious golfing events as the Dixie Amateur, as well as the Nike South Florida Classic, and countless other notable events.

No control by starter and no rangers on the course I have played this course many times but, over the years, it has become more crowded. Waiting between shots is commonplace. The situation is exacerbated when the starter slips in a few groups that do not have tee times. Plus there is no supervision on the courses at all. Great course but management is opting for revenue at the expense of the playing experience. On a positive note, management did refund our fees in full with no questions asked. January 21, 2015
Dissapointed The staff was not at all friendly or even polite. The course was only Slightly better than 'fair' condition and the pace of play was so bad we called it quits after 7 holes. There were no water stations on course, we never saw a Beverage cart and the drink machine took my $2 but wouldn't give me anything. January 20, 2015
Terrible slow greens. The greens where poor slow and not true full of spike marks we played at noon and was obvious that not to many players had used the course that day I assumed that they where not rolled for the Sunday games which was a disappointment January 20, 2015
very nice course playing in the morning 7,45. Fast playing. Good shape. Nice people to play with (from the club). 40$ is a good rate KARL from Sweden January 18, 2015
slow play this is a resort course and gets play from guests who do not play very often and that results in slow play. there was no ranger to speed things along. 5 hours and 15 minutes is tooooooo slow. January 13, 2015
A Real Pleasure The Oaks is a terrific course for the average to the middle of the road golfer, of which I qualify. It's not easy, but it's at the same time very fair, especially for older players. The approach shots are challenging because of the propensity of bunkers but getting to that point is mostly steady golf without too many hazards. I would highly recommend this course to golfers like me, older, shooting in 90s, who don't hit the ball a ton. January 10, 2015
Good value course - Consistent with green fees Nice course. Plays fairly long from back tees. Some holes are relatively tight around the green due to trees. January 10, 2015
Good value for the price, but would rather pay more for a nicer course I played the Cypress course, which is located about a mile from the Palms course. I was looking for something that was close and reasonably priced and Palm-Aire met those expectations. The course conditions were a little sub par in my opinion. The fairways were a little sparse and the greens were slow. The greens have new Tiff Eagle grass and are very smooth with minimal grain and could be very fast if the superintendent wanted them to be. The pace of play was slow on the front nine (2.5 hours to play the front side), but picked up on the back. We finished in about 4.25 hours. Overall, I would recommend this course to persons looking to play a reasonably priced round of golf and are not looking for top notch course conditions. December 29, 2014
