The "Mighty" Oaks Championship Course is considered by many as one of the top layouts in all of Florida. This original Fazio design was renovated in 1998 and restored to its original luster by Fazio Design, Inc. The Oak's true and smooth greens are carpeted with Tif Eagle turf, the newest and finest strand of Bermuda grass grown in Florida today. The 'Mighty' Oaks has long history of hosting such prestigious golfing events as the Dixie Amateur, as well as the Nike South Florida Classic, and countless other notable events.

Beautiful course! A surprisingly tricky but beautiful course - played from back tee! Some very nice holes along the water hazards ! If you're staying in the Fort Lauderdale/Pompano area - don't miss this little beauty! August 23, 2014
Good course maintenance With the exception of cart paths, the Cypress course was 1st class. August 22, 2014
needs an update The facilities are old, and the course shows the wear and tear of an inexpensive option. The greens are in good shape, but fairways, rough, and tee-boxes all need to be updated. Some bunkers have been left alone to become waste bunkers, but the ones that gaurd the greens are in better shape than I thought they would be. I went into the round thinking about joining the membership option for the three courses on the property, but more than likely will not be playing here again. Heron Bay is a much better option for around the same pricing, even if it is more expensive. August 18, 2014
Expecting More I was in Florida for a few days and wanted to play a round near where I was staying in Fort Lauderdale at a reasonable price. Based on the reviews, I chose here. A pretty straight forward course except some of the pin positions were ridiculous. There was a lot of water but there was always an out. You weren't really ever forced to hit a good shot. The greens had been sanded and were in average shape at best. Overall the course was just not in as good of shape as I expected. Also, driving range was mats only. Yardage markers were scarce. Can't say I would recommend, but it was passable for the price. August 14, 2014
The course was all ours! We had no one behind us or in front on a Tuesday at 10:00 AM. The summer rain caught us at the 10th hole for about 20 minutes then it was on to finish 18 holes. This is the best $30 you'll spend playing a round on a nearly perfect kept course. August 13, 2014
Very fun course in great shape First time playin here and found it very enjoyable. The course is laid out nicely and has some challenging holes while still providing scoring opportunities. There are some tricky water hazards, best to lay up and not try to be a hero unless you can carry 275 in the air. Greens were in good shape and fairways well kept as well. My only complaint would be that the carts were not equipped with gps, and there is no gps app for your smart phone on the clubs homepage. We teed off at 7:50 and had a good pace of play. I would recommend an early start because when we made the turn after 9, there were probably 4 foursomes stacked up waiting to start. All in all, great course and good play. And thanks to golfnow we got a great deal! August 10, 2014
Wet Rainy season in Florida. Didn't drain well.Course is long. Would play it again when the rain let's up. August 4, 2014
Good for money It's very good value for your money. Only thing is the pace of play. August 2, 2014
