Fairwaysvery fair
The course was well conditioned. The tree in the midde oft he 16th fairway was a challenge. Par 3's and 5' all very fair and reachable . Would play again, The fairways were all wide enough for any off line.shots.

A fun course to play
The course conditions were acceptable. Greens putted well. Dense woods on sides of fairways are effectively water hazards as you will not find your ball if it goes there. Keep it in play and it is not that hard. There is room.

Very Disappointing
Cow pasture. No grass and poorly maintained. Don't care what the cost wouldn't play it again.

This course is in poor condition
Tees are very rough, traps are terrible, fairways poor and lack definition, greens need some TLC.
There are a few holes with promise but overall poor conditon ruins the experience. I had expected the course to be much better after reading the reviews
Recommend save your money - play elsewhere!

Challenging track. Shot placement important.

One of the best for the money.
The three of us rally enjoyed the course. The greens were ok but needed some work in places. Lots of water but not in play to much. The coffee was good and strong. I would not want to walk the course as the distance from green to next tee is very long at times.

Some ' TRICKY HOLES'
We were paired up with a lovely couple from Iceland.Yes you heard me 'Iceland' where they only have 12 golf courses and a population of only 360,000. You may not be able to play there in the winter but in summer you can play at midnight.Now that is my idea of 'golfing utopia'. Summer in Iceland and Winter in Florida and STONEYBROOK EAST of course. Stoneybrook East is a hidden treasure,well managed and a treat to play .The last three holes are 'corkers' and must rank up there with the very best.All in all super value and well worth a visit.

The course is a great layout, and full of adventure on some holes.
We thought the course was in pretty good shape, not as good as times in the past. The pace of play was horrible. That was the first time I've ever seen walkers on the course. Pace of play was not well managed by the/a ranger. There were open holes between some groups. A lot of waiting around on the back nine, you really had to fight losing interest at times.

An enjoyable course to play. Wide variety of holes, interesting layout.
Overall a 3.5 star course, would be a 4 star + with better attention to the greens, tee boxes and some fairways which are now not as good as I have experienced in winters past. This has been on my list of favourite courses to play for the past 10 winters, and still rates highly because of the great rates periodically available on Golf Now. com. While several of the greens seem to be affected by patches of fungus, they still roll true.

Save your money...
I found the Staff to be unattentive to my problem, the fairways to be in need of maintenance, and the greens to be among the worst in Central FL. Save your money with so many other decent courses to choose from!

Needs attention
The #3 tee box for Blue Tees has a hump that as if a burial has taken place there. Not flat and very difficult to manage this tee location

Don't waste your money.
30 mins late teeing off due to poor course scheduling. Very slow pace. We left after 5hrs playing only 13 holes. Poor tee boxes, poor greens, fire ant mounds all over the place.

Good course for the price from Golfnow.
There are no mobile marshals to monitor the pace of play. One group of four novice golfers were holding up play for everyone behind and did not understand the courtesy of letting faster players play through.

NIce layout - over priced food/drinks
6 pack of beer and 2 drinks - $55.00 before tip. No water on the course, no cart girl - unfriendly staff aside from in the restaurant - over all poor course management and over priced.
Great course lay out, was a lot of fun to play - greens look awful but are smooth and rolled well.
very slow going, took almost 5 hours and was waiting on every single shot. No ranger, no starter shack.

Greens needed a little attention but overall the course was in decent shape
The day we played a cold front moved in and of course I left my jacket in the car. The course played slow as they, much like other courses in Florida, push the players out one right after the other. The greens left a little to be desired and seemed to play faster after the rain. The layout of the course is nice and requires a straight shot on some holes, but allows you to grip it and rip it on others. Overall not a bad course, but would not pay over $20 to play as the drive for me was a little excessive.

Course was good. Service for the most was good.
Course was good. Greens were very wet. The only issue was the gentleman at the proshop that gave away our tee time after checkingus in and then telling the starter that we were not there. He also was going to charge one of our foursome twice as much as he should have.

This course was its normal challenge. I was able to get a great value off golf now for my family. We had a great time on the course.

Very Good Conditioning. Nice Greens.
The course was in very good shape. I enjoyed it. But the surliness and arrogance of the young man at the pro shop, combined with some pretty steep prices in the lunch menu made this a less than good experience. ($5.50 polish sausage/$3.25 iced tea). I'll most likely be back, but my bag will have some goodies in it to get me through the round, Then, we'll go eat off-course.

Great golf escape for any level of play
Had a wonderful experience at this course, and really enjoyed seeing each beautiful hole. For the few holes that were "gently used," many of them were well groomed. The staff was very friendly and the course was easy to navigate. Enjoyed the long stretches between some of the holes that allowed you to drive through trees and over wooden bridges.

really gone downhill in last 2 years
Greens were terrible - no amount of green dye could make up for that. Course in terrible shape. Had to wait for a cart to be brought to me. Staff unattentive and seemed disinterested.
