The course was in great condition and more open than originally appeared. Greens lightning fast.

Good Value, course in good condition overall
Fairways and greens were in very good shape. Tee boxes were a bit small and uneven. Course is realtively short, with very small greens. Overall the layout is straight forward, but there were a few querky holes, were i hit the fairway but tree or overhanging banches totally blocked off my approach shot/

Waited 30 minutes to play hole #6 part 3, 5 hours plus round
The course is nice and challenging but we had to wait to play almost at every hole. We call the pro shop and they sent a ranger and we were still setting at hole #6, they say it always gets like that. I read other online reviews and that's what everybody says. At the end of the round I went to the restaurant to try to get something to eat but first I went to the bathroom, the bathroom was so discussing that I decided not to eat there. The smell was unbearable.
Overall impression: not very good

Overpriced
My feelings are that with the condition of the course well overpriced. I f I did not play with someone who knows the course finding the next tee box would be difficult. Had to wait until a return player was finished so I could get a cart.

Pleasant course and staff. Priced right. Slow pace.
Positive: (1) Pleasant course and staff. (2) Priced right.
Negative: (1) Defective carts/ replaced twice during the course of the game (used 3 carts in total) (2) Slow pace.

The course is a nice track but the washrooms are filthy.
My wife would not use the washrooms that's how bad they were. We have played several courses in Florida and these were by far the worse we have ever seen. To bad as the course was fun to play but we won't be going back.

Course has potential, but managed poorly
Staff in pro shop, grill and bag drop were lacking people skills and knowledge of job. Only beverage cart was friendly and helpful. 5+ hour round and no ranger on course (was told by cart staff that he went home at 1:00). Had to wait for carts while 6-some finished #18, but carts out of service in barn. Up charge for using credit card without warning or option to avoid with cash payment. Will not make this course one of our stops for annual golf trip to FL. Too bad because it used to be a well managed course several years ago.

Good location and well maintained, fair test.
Staff were very helpful with a sense of humor. Plenty of player assistance to keep up the pace of play. Course was in quite good shape compared to others in the Orlando are we played. Probably our best experience and value for my wife and I during our week of golf in Orlando.

Slooooooooow round
I normally like Hunter's Creek...and have enjoyed most of my rounds there. This was a Monday morning...and golf took over 5 hours. The pace of play was really slow, and not a ranger in sight. Also...the greenskeeper must've had a fight with his wife the night before because the pin placements were ridiculous. Several were within 6 feet of the edge of the green, or on slopes. I'll play there again, I'm sure...because it's convenient. On the plus side...super friendly and helpful staff.

One of my favorite local courses!!! I always look forward to playing this challenging and fun course. Great layout for long bombers and short hitters.

POOR!
first 3 holes 1 hour plus,greens had dry rot,poor organization ,Orange Lake Course was better bang for the buck.Would not play especially for $70.I could play Bethpge Black and enjoy myself!!!! Take off your list of courses.The round was over 5 hours.

All was good until we slowed to a crawl - like a 20 minute wait to tee off at #12 - as management placed 30 or more golfers on the back nine (in shot gun format) . We were the second foursome out (7 AM tee time) and "they" said we played too fast and caught up with the shotgun group (obviously an outing).. Tell me ..is 2 hours and 20 minutes for the front nine "TOO FAST" ? I don't think so - just about right at most courses I've played. "Management" said it would never happen again. You decide. Course was in good condition and the price was also fair.

The course is in as good condition as I have seen it the management team and ground staff are doing a great job, keep it up and this will be a must play course.

The people were very friendly.
The course was nice and fairly well maintained. They had a great tee selection and the greens were in good shape. You had to think about club selection on many of the holes for correct course management.

Well maintained course. Impressed with the layout and design. Enjoyed, wish I had time to play it again. Maybe next time.
This is a course you must play more than once to know the lie and angles. Beautiful course for scenery and enjoyment. Not an easy course. If your wanting a great score the 1st time out this is probably not going to get you there. But everything else is worth foregoing the score!

Great GolfNow Deal!
I had never played here before, but had heard some good things. GolfNow made it a no-brainer, with the play all day plus a box of balls bargain. Played a quick round in the early AM, and a more moderately paced round in the afternoon. Course was in great shape, staff friendly and helpful - A great deal, and a great day!

Hard course for high handicappers
Stay away if you still loose a lot of balls. It's a tough course for newbies. I will try again in a few months.

Not bad
Choose the right tees - unfortunately most golfers are either 5900 or 6500 yds - too bad there isn't something in between. Greens were not bad, many tees were crowned and need work- esp the par 3's. Pd. $48 and it wasn't worth more or less than that.

Enjoyed playing
I felt for the money the course was a very good value, it was challenging for me as the senior tees are 6,000 yards, a little harder for me, but I had fun and would go back there, it was the first time I played there since I have lived in Florida and will go back again. It was overall a very good experience. Although there is a lot of water if you hit the ball it doesn't really come into play. Thanks for a very good time.
