Good greens, interesting layout.
The course was in good shape. Tee boxes need some work. Has a good layout.

Run as fast as you can AWAY!!!
All serious golfers.
Played Hunter's Creek on April 5th 8:12 2014.
After reading the reviews from web site.
Previously rated 37th nationally by Golf Digest as one of the "Top 75 Public Courses to Play", Hunter’s Creek has an exceptional course design enticing the golfer with several shot options on every hole. This Orlando golf course has played host to several major events: US Open Qualifier – 1989-1994, PGA Tour Qualifier – 1989, in addition to several FSGA events.
I was salivating with the opportunity to play the golf course.
Booked on GolfNow and wished I had picked any other course.
When checking in pro shop person rude to customer in from of me.
When using rest room of pro shop before round beyond bad.
When I expressed my concern pro shop person not even a word.
Driving range bad!
Tee boxes not even! sloped in all directions!
Green need a lot of tender love and care!
The golf course is a wonderful lay out
Cart person with thumper tattoo only person at golf course that seamed to like their job. New cart very nice.
This golf course has lots of potential.
Someone should have put a coat of paint on, used some cleaner, and any a ounce of tender love a care,
Mike Golf Nut!

Good for the money
So many courses cost a tun and you end up waiting or being hit up on.... This place to be fair is in semi rough condition but the staff is aware and said it is being worked on. I have no complaints I knew this before I teed off and I was charged a very, very fair price for it. As I said the front nine had some( many) divot repairs and the greens were adequate the back nine were much better... I would recommend this course but stay with $30 or less for 18 (+) the cart and you'll be content. Pace of play was fine we started at 2:30 and played right thru.

Course OK but not in great shape as one would expect. Pace of play was horrendous. Group ahead of us had 3 holes open ahead of them, and that was all we could see. That same group paid no attention to where the carts went, driving several times right to the edge of the greens.

Third group out behind foursome. A few greens had distress spots. Fairways good. Course is forgiving.

Becoming Goat Track!
The men's room stunk of urine very strong. Like it was not cleaned for weeks. The golf cart was filthy. Just brought cart out of garage. Chips all over dash, sand on seat and floor. No water in ball/club wash. Evidently cart was not cleaned when put away. No one to get your clubs when you arrive at the course. Cart person was starter I guess. Greens were in terrible shape. 5 1/2 round. Paid $124.00 to play this. I played 7 rounds, this was the most expensive and the worse course. Will never play again. I come down Ever year and this used to be a really nice course. Living on its past.

This course is extremely challenging just due to it's length. I played from the tips and that is easily over 7400 yds. If you are a long player this will be a fun course. The day I played the fairways were rolling fast, got a lot of extra distance off my drives after it hit the fairways (I think close to a 260 yd drive with a 3 wood!). The greens are somewhat challenging, due to the fact that there are some that are small but the overall condition of the greens were below average but my buddy and I still found them to roll true on most holes surprisingly. The fringe was not cut and the surfaces of some greens had no grass on it whatsoever. Water also comes into play on the majority of the holes or contains water. Layout wise, it's a pretty straight forward and flat course. I will definitely play here again, hopefully the greens will be in better shape next time.

When the best part of the round is the cart girl...
We played on a Friday afternoon. I did not know that we were following a tournament. I booked a Hot Deal and saved $16 per player. That cost was offset by the slow play of the tournament players who seemed to go an extra few holes.
The greens were very inconsistent as there were many places with burned areas and subsequent bumpiness. The fairways were just OK, with the tee boxes also having some grass issues. I was later told by the cart attendant that the course was in the process of being taken over and all but basic maintenance had stopped.
The bar staff was somewhat rude, and was not willing to give me a second cup of water/ice for my playing partner. The only bright spot of the day was Shannon, the on-course beverage server. She was exceptionally friendly and went out of her way to make sure we were served well by her. She was the high spot of the day for us.
I would go back as I had played it before when it was in much better condition. I would confirm that the course status was settled and that the course is in better shape.
