The Eagles Golf Club boasts a long, proud tradition as the standard of excellence for public access golf in the Tampa market and we are honored to preserve that legacy. The Eagles two championship golf courses, The Lakes and The Forest, offer our players distinctly different experiences at our location in the prestigious gated Eagles community.

At 6719 yards from the championship tees, the Forest Course demands precise shot-making and course management. The drivable par four third is a classic risk/reward opportunity; eagle or “other” is a possible score on this challenging hole. The peninsula green on the par three sixth offers all the characteristic drama of a forced carry over water. The back nine is nestled in a setting more reminiscent of a nature preserve than a golf course; you’ll find it hard to believe that the Tampa airport is a mere 20 minutes away. Your time spent on these fairways surrounded by the tranquility of the natural surroundings will have you coming back again and again.

The Lakes Course stretches to over 7000 yards “from the tips” and provides a completely different look and feel than the Forest Course. It takes accurate ball striking and length to successfully navigate this interesting layout. Number one is a twisting, turning par five around a majestic oak in the right center of the fairway; but a birdie is a great way to start your round. A recent tree removal project has opened the canopy on the second hole; we think you’ll like the new look. To preserve the natural ambiance of the Eagles, twenty trees were strategically added to replace those that were removed.

No matter which golf experience you choose, stop at the restaurant in the Eagles clubhouse before or after your round. Enjoy the best burger you’ll ever have or select from one of our weekly specials; either way, your satisfaction is guaranteed.

nice course really enjoyed this course, it's in good shape with a nice layout, looking forward to going back. December 19, 2014
A pleasant surprise We were really impressed with all the wildlife Turkeys, Deer, Many varieties of birds, even saw an alligator at the driving range. The course was in great shape and was very challenging. I enjoyed it very much. Thanks to player reviews I was able to find a course online and it was a winner! December 14, 2014
top quality one of the top-notch public access courses in the area...quite hard with some forced carries that will frighten the lesser players December 13, 2014
Eagle's Lake is a nice course. Eagels a positvie surprise, good layout and a fun course to play, the greens a little slow and short holes was the weakness of the Course. December 9, 2014
Great rate! As a novice golfer, a little over a year of golfing play, I was extremely satisfied with my experience at this course. I was happy to find a great rate via the "Golf Now" app - hence my play at a, traditionally, more pricey course. Though my opinion is limited due to the fact that I haven't played long, this course was fantastic! Conditions, staff courtesy and availability were top-notch. I lost several balls on this course, but that is, no-doubt, due to my quality of play as a novice player. As I become more comfortable with my play, I will certainly visit this course more often. I've played the "Forest" course in the past and was equally satisfied with my experience. Traditional rates are higher and I have no problem with that, considering the quality of the course and staff. Until I become a "better player," it is likely I won't visit this course often unless a great rate is available. That said, I certainly don't want to take anything away from The Eagles - a fantastic golf experience and I shot one of my better games this day! Challenging tee-shots; well-manicured fairways and greens; and a comfortable cart complete with a cooler for my water and beverages purchased from the kind "cart-lady." Highly recommended if you're a seasoned golfer; be cautious and bring lots of balls if you're a novice, like myself - unless you find a great rate, as I did.The experience and improvement to my game was well-worth losing a few balls. Forest Nothing bad to say about The Eagles Forest course. Greens very nice, fairways in great condition, ball sits up slightly, bunkers goo with consistent packed sand, rough cut short, chipping areas good. Course layout pretty much infront of you, a couple of tricky doglegs but plenty of room off the tees. Also had the opportunity to play Lakes front nine again nothing bad to say same conditions. Only difference is the Course layout appears tighter due to trees with some in difficult places from the tee view. Either course is great to play. December 7, 2014
Fair and fun course This was a hot deal that was well worth a long drive to the course. Paired up with friendly playing partners. The course was challenging but not punishing and there is a lot of variety. December 7, 2014
Florida courses One thing about the west coast, if your looking for elevation changes, not happening. That said, the course was very nice. When I played, the greens had been semi top dressed, but that did not take anything away from how good they were. The tee boxes were a bit on the sparse side, but other than that I loved the course. This was the Forest course, looking forward to playing the Lakes course. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed. December 4, 2014
