The Eagles Golf Club boasts a long, proud tradition as the standard of excellence for public access golf in the Tampa market and we are honored to preserve that legacy. The Eagles two championship golf courses, The Lakes and The Forest, offer our players distinctly different experiences at our location in the prestigious gated Eagles community.

At 6719 yards from the championship tees, the Forest Course demands precise shot-making and course management. The drivable par four third is a classic risk/reward opportunity; eagle or “other” is a possible score on this challenging hole. The peninsula green on the par three sixth offers all the characteristic drama of a forced carry over water. The back nine is nestled in a setting more reminiscent of a nature preserve than a golf course; you’ll find it hard to believe that the Tampa airport is a mere 20 minutes away. Your time spent on these fairways surrounded by the tranquility of the natural surroundings will have you coming back again and again.

The Lakes Course stretches to over 7000 yards “from the tips” and provides a completely different look and feel than the Forest Course. It takes accurate ball striking and length to successfully navigate this interesting layout. Number one is a twisting, turning par five around a majestic oak in the right center of the fairway; but a birdie is a great way to start your round. A recent tree removal project has opened the canopy on the second hole; we think you’ll like the new look. To preserve the natural ambiance of the Eagles, twenty trees were strategically added to replace those that were removed.

No matter which golf experience you choose, stop at the restaurant in the Eagles clubhouse before or after your round. Enjoy the best burger you’ll ever have or select from one of our weekly specials; either way, your satisfaction is guaranteed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Punishing rough but beautiful course The grass length on the rough is four inches of club grabbing and ball hiding madness. If you are lucky enough to find your ball you will need a solid hack just to get out of it. All in all a great lay out and well kept course. Peaceful with plenty of wildlife (gators, turkeys, hawk, osprey and plenty of deer). August 25, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by The Rough is Rough This was the first time I played this course and I was not disappointed. The greens were punched, but I knew that going in. They were still playable, and should be back to form soon. I really enjoyed the lay-out and wild life. We saw several deer, and their off spring running through the course through-out our round. The only issue I had was finding my ball when hitting into the rough. The ball disappeared into the tall grass. I guess it wouldn't be an issue if I hit every shot straight. lol August 24, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Shouldn't have been open for play today I could tell that this course would normally be in great shape, but recent rain storms caused every fairway to be extremely wet and losing a golf ball was inevitable if a shot missed the fairway at all. Had to quit during the round because of ifrustration with trying to locate balls in the rough. Disappointing experience, but I would play again in DRY conditions. August 10, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Played the Forest very nice and very wet I have played both the Eagles Forest and Lake courses. Lake seems usually dry, but the Forest seems always soggy on numerous holes. That said, the greens were in excellent condition--around a 10 and the course was well maintained. But as much as I like the Forest, and would recommend it, I would recommend the Lake course even more only because it is usually dryer. July 25, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Eagles - Forest Course The Eagles Forest course is always a pleasure to play. I totally enjoyed it. It is well maintained with fast greens. July 15, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by A+ all around Haven't play the forest in a few years. All I can say is wow. Course was in excellent condition and the wild life was surreal. We must of seen 40 dear on the fairway. One of my new favorite courses in Tampa. July 12, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Killer Rough The friendliness of the cart staff was amazing. Made sure we had enough ice for the provided water in the cart cooler. Range is a Florida floater ball range. Missing the fairway can be costly as the ball disappears down into the rough. Sometimes making it difficult to find your ball. The turn doesn't go back to the clubhouse. There under the trees though sits a trailer with food. Fantastic dogs (Nathan's) sausages and brats. Deer and birds all over the place. July 3, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Eagles Forest GC Played as a twosome on a Sunday in 3 Hrs good. Course conditions overall very good except for a few tee's that were pretty beat up and greens are recovering from aeration but rolled OK slightly bumpy medium speed , fairways are good and chipping areas are subjective from decent lies to really fluffy deep lies. Layout has some misdirection from tees to fairways with tees pointing into woods not a favorite of mine. Good course though, Definite play and good value for the hot deal. June 21, 2015
