The Gordon Lewis design sports five sets of tee boxes; the black tees stretch the course to 7,233 yards while shorter hitters will enjoy the challenge of a 4,795 yard forward tee distance.
Length is what you’ll need to challenge “The Monster” – Florida’s longest par five, playing uphill 669 yards from the tips. However, accuracy is also important as the Candler Hills layout sports 148 bunkers. Once you reach the green, a two putt is no easy task since the greens at Candler Hills average between 7,000 and 11,000 square feet. Depending on the direction and consistency of the wind, Candler Hills is capable of playing just as tough as any course in Florida.
