Good layout, poor conditions I really like the layout of the course but the condition of the greens, in particular, traps and fairways are all substandard. I am here for a month and I won't go back to it this year. March 20, 2015
Dry and disappointed The greens were dry, patchy, weedy, bumpy and recently fertilized. Very disappointing. The fairways were dry and the tee off boxes could have used some maintenance. About half of the sand bunkers had large needles as mulch, in which I lost some balls. March 12, 2015
Bad Greens On a golfing trip with a friend; played this in the morning and Cypresshead in the afternoon. This review starts with the greens and ends with the greens, especially the first few. Not good physically or aesthetically. I liked the generous landing areas but that alone could not make up for the green conditons and all of the bunkering work that was being done. Nice staff but this won't be on my list to play again. March 11, 2015
good layout generous fairways Greens were poor - love the course but bunkers were inconsistent - deep sand - no sand. March 9, 2015
Course needs help, Not worth the money The condition of the course especially the greens was in poor condition. Numerous dead spots on most of the greens which have an attempt to hide them with green sand. Tufts of grass (weeds) growing in patches on most greens. Especially the first three holes. The fairways did not have much grass on them, and had lots of mud patches. The bunkers need maintenance with several having the under matting coming through. Most bunkers don't even have rakes in order to fix foot prints. My partners and I were very disappointed in the course, and felt it was a waste of our money. For what they charge you would have expected better conditions, considering other courses in the area which are the same cost or less which are in much better condition. Starter was friendly, but the pro shop person seemed like we were bothering him. I think they are spending the money on the numerous housing developments throughout the course that are being worked on and not the course. First time at this course for us, and the last. Nice course Really enjoyed this course. Fairways were perfect. A couple of greens had some small blemishes an one needed to be cut. Other than that, the course was fun and challenging. Definitely want to play it again! March 5, 2015
Nice layout, rough greens Nice course with a neat layout. The greens had been overseeded and topdressed the day I played. Once they fill in it will be a great course to play. Was told on the first tee they will be filling in a lot of bunkers. Most bunkers were not to much in play but will have a different look for sure. Watch out on #9 a true risk reward hole. Good course gone bad This course used to be in excellent shape, now they are losing the greens. March 3, 2015
