great day down from boston visiting friends. Had a great day at this fabulous course January 23, 2015
Venetian Bay Very good layout and codition of the course. Fast greens, smooth and well maintained. Marshall's to keep pace of play on time. Friendly staff . January 20, 2015
Course was entirely soggy Course was soggy everywhere on a beautiful day. Bunkers were unplayable - filled with water. Cart tracks all over the fairways. Not sure if this course EVER dries out. January 19, 2015
Put some $ in the bunkers Greens were nice. Fairways a little spotty. Lots of ruts from carts in fairways from wet conditions even though it has been relatively dry last few weeks. January 8, 2015
Worth the drive Excellent course conditions and great layout. The greens are some of the best in Orlando, TPC quality. Very forgiven off the tee. December 29, 2014
An unexpected cardio workout My last visit to this golf course was extremely disappointing. My party arrived 20 minutes prior to our tee time, paid our greens fees, and left the pro-shop to get our carts to begin our round. Only, the golf course had "run out of carts" and no one on the staff seamed like they knew what to do. We finally received two carts approximately 1/2 an hour after we were supposed to tee off. We began our round, but by the second hole the carts were already starting to die. By the time we reached the 6th hole, both carts were literally dead in the water. We ended up having to literally push our carts while we played our round. We did let the beverage cart know at least 3 times that our carts were dying / dead and we were told that she would let the pro-shop know, but they were apparently still out of carts. Frustrated and exhausted, I called the pro-shop to ask them to send out new carts for us, and was told that they were working on it, and we should just sit tight. After 45 minutes of waiting with no response, our group decided to simply pony up and push our carts back in. We were finally able to get operational carts at the turn, with little / no recognition as to the terrible customer service and poor experience that was provided. The staff all seemed to have the attitude that it was not really their problem to fix, although they had no problem collecting the greens fees. This experience was very unfortunate. I really enjoy playing this course, and am happy to pay a few dollars more to play here. However, with that I expect the facility to obviously not run out of carts at 11 in the morning, but also, and more importantly, immediately fix any and all issues while their guests are playing their round. The defensive, uncaring response I received from several staff members during this awful experience has solidified that I will never be returning to this course, and will not hesitate to share my experience there. Save your money! Played 2 days after a rain storm and little maintenance performed to repair storm damage. Almost all bunkers unplayable due to being filled with water and being washed out. I have seen municipal courses put in more effort than this place to get a course in playing shape. Also got stuck behind a foursome that had 2 guys playing out of the same bag which slowed down the pace of play. They nerd to spend some money on a starter to make sure ALL players have their own clubs and spend some money on fixing the course up. Won't be playing here again. Too many courses nearby that actually care about keeping theircourses in playing condition! December 24, 2014
Worth the Trip! The first time I played years ago, hole #1 was #10 and the wind made it nearly unplayable. I knew I had to get back on a calm day and finally did. A really fun, challenging layout. The greens rolled true and fast. I'm going back this week to see if I learned anything! December 22, 2014
