Generous fairways Generous fairways but, very difficult greens.Practice facility was great. April 6, 2015
Flamingo course I played the flamingo course and I played on a Palm Sunday and it wasn't busy. I had a 12:12 tee time but was able get off early. It was very windy, which happens in south Florida. The resort has excellent practice facilities, putting green, chipping green with bunkers and huge driving range. The carts have gps maps for yardage. The course itself was in great condition. The tee area was the most worn, but not awful. Plenty of tee choices, depending on your level. They have a beverage cart on the course and we saw her three times. I didn't have anything to eat at the clubhouse so I can comment. March 31, 2015
Mustang Fast greens that were top dressed. there were no rangers out to speed up play that was slow from 5th on. some tee boxes need to be addressed. a few bunkers had a lot of rocks in them. March 28, 2015
Pretty nice We have been playing the Lely courses now for like 20 years. This year we found the Mustang course being in almost perfect condition, even a tad better than normal, with green speeds closing in on maybe a 10 on the stimp meter. Which is quick for the avg golfer. The course is nicely maintained and pleases the eyes. However, even when played from the tips, it is not very difficult. It is the perfect course for a relaxing golf outing with friends and to enjoy a beautiful setting. March 25, 2015
This course was very playable Playable course. Staff was fantastic. Little pricey for what you get. March 24, 2015
Pricey, but worth it I don't have a bad thing to say about the course. Tees, fairways, and greens were all in excellent shape. Greens had recently been top-coated so they rolled pretty fast, but once you get a feel for it on one it's not a problem. The GPS on the cart gives you everything you could ever need as far as yardage to hazards, the cart in front of you, and greens. It also flashes sports updates along the bottom like ESPN. Cart had an ice chest with ice in it on the side. I came around 2:00, and was able to play by myself. Didn't run into traffic until about 8. Play the flamingo course if you can. It's more scenic than the mustang. Worth every penny! March 18, 2015
Lots of players yet pace of play is fast Nice course with lots of foursomes going out but pace of play was good. Four hours is normal pace of play and everyone seems to make it. Course is in great shape and poses challenges especially when there is wind! March 15, 2015
Good course Good public crowded course. Somewhat friendly bag persons, much better after $5 tip coming and leaving. Very friendly starter Chuck. Good conditions, faster greens rolled true. Lots of housing. Nice clubhouse with Sam Snead's 42 hole in one golf balls and other framed memorabilia. March 14, 2015
