Lely Resort Golf & Country Club
Summertime in southwest florida
Really can't expect for excellent conditions in the summer. However, for the price and having the course to myself, I would definitely recommend and will play again.

Great layout but terrible greens
The course layout is wonderful but the greens have been recently aerated and rolled horribly. If we had known this we would have chosen another course. That said, under normal conditions this would be a great course to play

Good not great
Good course with some challenge to it. Good course to play in to your rotation of courses in the area.

This course is fantastic
First time playing the mustang course. In excellent condition and great to be able to have gps usage to know where to hit each shot. The bunkers come into play if one does not keep the shots nice and straight. There is plenty of water coming to play so make sure the clubs that you will play to avoid going to far. I will definetely be back to play this great course

Nice track, poor service
The first time in 15 yrs of golf this has ever happened. The ranage was closed till 9am on my 6:20 reservation, which I was not let out until 7! The first three holes the sprinkles were turned on at the green. In waving down maintenance staff all 3 times I was ignored! The restroom was locked on the back 9 with a key broken off. On 14 of 18 holes there was maintenance crew working in bunkers, fairways, and on the greens. The cart gal was no where to be found. When I mentioned these to the clerk that took my fees his comment was "other then that how did it go"?

It started out when the cart broke at the driving range. The guy there said that was normal, they all break. The fairways had been aerated (didn't tell us before booking, didn't give a discount), the tees had been aerated the day before (didn't tell us before booking, didn't give a discount). I understand that aeration is necessary for grass but there should be an obligation to tell you prior to booking in case you want to play elsewhere. There was no starter, the guy with the carts told us to go ahead when we were ready. There was an 8:30 shotgun outing for a large group that they didn't tell us about when booking. Needless to say, I won't be playing here again. For just a few more dollars, go to Tiburon and enjoy a round on a great course (black) in great shape.
