very good value for February golfing compared to other similar courses in naples area

don't waste yur money
the service is good. the course is not challenging. it is in decent shape, and the greens are good. the pace of play is slow and there are no marshalls patrolling. it seems to be the way here in this area. even though we got this on sale, it was not worth it. the cost is probably higher because the course is in naples. the best part of the day, was sitting on the back deck, in thoses big chairs enjoying the heat and sunshine. we ate there but the food was not great, the chicken was bland and the prime rib was grey in color.
but take the time and have a drink on the back porch. but do not waste your money on the golf.

I enjoy playing at Hibiscus very much
I always have a good time playing here - especially with the women's group on Tuesday mornings! It's a great group and a lot of fun.
The course gets pretty crowded so the earlier you play, the better time you'll have!

Fun course, nice facilities, friendly & helpful staff.
I've always loved Hibiscus, having played it for many years whenever I flew to FL to visit from up north. Now that I live in FL, I play it often. For some time now the greens have been very quick with excessively short grass, in my opinion. Overall, although not always worth the higher winter rates, Hibiscus is definitely a great value in the summertime. I would recommend it as a fun place to play that is good for even high handicappers.

Price is cheaper than all other courses in the area... and here you get a little less than you pay for course wise.
Management trying hard to make this a worthy stop to play. Still has quite a ways to go. Yet I must say I probably had the best time all winter playing here once. Paired up with 3 blue collar, every day duffers/snowbirds from Boston... good people. Club staff also unpretentious... real people super friendly.

This course is challenging, but over priced compared to the competition. Only play it if no other course is available.
The tee boxes are beat. The staff is very accommodating. The fairways are in bad shape. I can't say anything else.

Good Course with great restaurant
Golf was somewhat on the slow side but not terrible. After golf we had dinner at the new restaurant here called Erin's Isle. Very good wait staff and excellent food at reasonable prices.

Tees and greens were in very good shape. Fairways were O.K.
An O.K. course. Great pace of play. The course ranger was ever present which is nice to see. Seems like they tried to squeeze in a bit too much on the land. Fairways are generous but some tees are too close to previous green, especially when the wind is up ( almost every day in Florida).

Hibiscus GC is a reasonable challenge at an affordable price.
Considering that this round was played during "high season", the price is about as good as it gets for a good experience.

Pretty good value for lower than average Naples prices.
Relatively easy layout but presenting good variety in holes and fairways. No long forced carries. Reasonably sized greens with nice variation in challenges. Not pristine grooming, could use some work in places, but not demanding resort pricing either.

Worth playing
A very pleasant experience with nice people for a reasonable price. Had a late lunch at the restaurant--very good food and lovely view from porch.

Hibiscus Golf Course has fast greens
Of the 2 courses I played since coming down to Naples it was the best. The course was in very good condition especially the greens (very fast). My wife and I enjoyed playing the course and the people we were matched up with were also very friendly and enjoyable to play with.

OK experience
Excellent greens. Thin-ish turf makes for lots of very tight lies in fairways and run-up areas near greens. Rough is negligible. Not near as much water in play as many Florida courses.

very nice layout
I looked forward to this round and the course did not disappoint. It was my first time here and it was an enjoyable round. The speed of the greens was not consistent from one to another, but none were too fast or too slow. The bunkering was attractive and very well maintained, as were the tees and greens. I have two slight gripes about the management. 1) We had a 7:20 am tee time and there was no coffee, breakfast, or snacks available till 11, so we couldn't even get anything at the turn. The excuse was that the restaurant was separately managed--a poor excuse since putting out a pot of coffee and some granola bars would be easy. 2) 7 1/2 minute tee times. Even though we were one of the first groups out it meant waiting on tees and getting hit into on fairways. I know they need to max the course out but 10 minute times is more acceptable. With that said I'd come back, but I'd bring my own food next time!

If your looking for an overall satisfying experience forget this course
Nothing has changed in the 3 years I have played this course during high season. Grass is very thin, fairways pockmarked from heavy play, pace of play very slow due to high handicap players seeking least expensive greens fee. If the owners could clean up the fairways and rough (hitting from more sand than grass) and create real primary rough, they could charge more and make this more enjoyable because the course does force you to place your tee shots in positions that make flag access more reasonable - and that makes this course a nice challenge - absent good tee shot placement you wind up hitting over traps and high points of the green. J

I signed up for. 2 PM tee time and it was changed to a 2:37 tee time by the course. The net result was we only played 16 holes.
Play was Slow and the tee time was moved back 37 min because the pro shop gave our tee time to other golfers.

It was okay
The course needs maintance. The fairways need grass so that one can get under the ball. Hard solid ground makes it difficult to the irons. The course was slow and we could only play 15 holes in more than four hours. There was no ranger to keep the players moving.

The course was very fair to a bogey golfer
The course was in decent condition,considering the heavy rain of a couple days earlier.However,the starter did not pair up twosomes into foursomes,so there became fairly long delays at the latter holes.We counted 5 twosomes stretched out over 3 holes in front of us at one point,all waiting to take their shots.

EVEN WITH GOLFNOW DISCOUNT A BIT OVERPRECED, BUT COURSE IN GREAT SHAPE.
Green conditions were very good for heavy public play traffic with tough reads for the newcomer. SHOULD HAVE STAYED FOR SUNDAY BRUNCH. LOOKED GREAT and SMELLED Delicious.

Great Day
Great course, a hidden gem among many places to golf in Naples. I almost hate to write this review because everyone will go golf here. It was a great course with risk and reward holes, followed by some easy ones to help you score well. I truly enjoyed the whole day at this great course, it was in awesome condition, great staff, great practice area. Quick round too.

Course is old style FL
The course was very average for the area. NOT an A or B track such as the Quarry or Twin Eagles. About like Arrowhead but older. But it was somewhat reasonably priced for in season.

Not a bad track
The course had quite wide fairways and not a lot of easy trouble to get into. No beverage cart...greens were pretty straight forward and easy to read. Nice bar/restaurant...hot dogs at the turn.

Good course for the novice
As a public course, hibiscus was well maintained. Fairways were wide and the water hazards did not come into play for the straight shooters. Greens were hard and at times, fast. Overall a excellent experience.
