A great test of golf created by William Mitchell in 1961, East Bay is a par 71 layout with water coming into play on 14 holes. A commitment to excellence has established a superbly conditioned course with generous fairways and undulating greens that invite a challenge. Completely overseeded in the winter months, East Bay truly is the best golf value in Tampa Bay.

Located on the beautiful west central coast of Florida in Largo, East Bay Golf Club is one of the most popular public layouts in Pinellas County and the Tampa Bay area. East Bay offers a practice range, putting greens, pro shop, club house and Pro Shot GPS yardage system on the entire 90-cart fleet.

Rated 3.3 out of 5 by 171 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great traditional course Course was in great shape. Greens lush green and rolling nice. New sand being installed in greenside bunkers next week they said which was my only previous want. Rates are always very reasonable and staff is super friendly. New carts all with GPS. I'll be back often. October 23, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Average player course Was told wet & soggy & it was... Played it just the same, but went into play knowing wet & soggy. Not a surprise October 7, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Course in pretty poor shape Shop personnel rude and condescending; quoted $27 on phone, charged $32; greens were VERY slow and grass very thin/spotty in many places; fairways were ok; tees were thin/spotty; the bunkers I landed in (3) were filled with dirt rather than sand. I play this course about once a year, always hoping it will be better, because it is close to where I live. But they just don't seem to be making any improvements to the course: poorly draining areas; thin/spotty turf; bad bunkers; and now the greens. There are too many other courses in the area to choose from. Maybe next year... October 3, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Bad, bad Greens no grass, only sand on the greens, good luck with putting September 25, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Bad green s I've played this Course several times in the past it's been great. However right now the greens are in terrible shape their what I referred to as a two-putt Green. The rest of the course is good people are all friendly I'll wait a few months before I play it again September 24, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love this 'Linksy' Layout This course presents a good challenge....lots of water...large waste areas .. tricky, mounded, well bunkered perched greens ..... I love the links feel of this course ... not in country club condition, but links aren't supposed to be ... Greens are deceptively fast, especially from above the hole ..... fairways are gently rolling, with many dips, humps and bumps to give you unexpected lies...Sand traps are inconsistent IN A GOOD WAY in that they are well taken care of, but contain different sand/depth/texture in many of them, which is the way it should be -- a trap! ....AND despite all the rain we have gotten, the constant work that is done on this course by the great staff made it very playable ! Rated 3 out of 5 by Average course at best If you can get a great price from an on-line discount website, you may want to try it out. The course is a decent layout but nothing special. It has poor drainage and is often cart path only during the wet season. The carts have GPS which is a bonus, and there are 2-3 places to get drinking water on each side. The course has never been in great condition, and sometimes pretty poor. The wet summer this year has made it tough to maintain. I would recommend Bardmoor that is only 3 miles from East Bay and treat yourself to someplace nice. September 10, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Fun course, very friendly staff Overall course in good shape, especially considering the rain this month. Very friendly staff. Good value.... August 27, 2015
