This course was fun! I can't wait to play here again!!
I am a average golfer at best and I played with my son who has rarely played a 18 hole golf course. With that being said, we both found the course fair and challenging at both of our skill levels. My son was so excited when he parred a hole and I was even more excited then he was when I got a birdie!
The course was unique to me because although it is not long we were comfortable using all of the clubs in our bag. I can't wait to play here again. I advised my son and his younger brother to use this course to learn the game of golf!

Short but fun
The toughest 4000 yards you will ever play. The course winds through several different areas that makes it one of the most scenic courses I've played. Starting with a beautiful driving range that is a lake with islands in it for distance. A lot of wildlife. And most of all is the friendly staff and cliental. Give it a shot and you will be hooked like I am.

THE GROVES IS A VERY NICE COURSE. NOT REALLY FOR THE BEGINNER BUT THE AVERAGE GOLFER WOULD FIND IT TO BE A FUN CHALLENGE.
IF YOU HAD A FRIEND THAT THOUGHT HE OR HER WAS TIGER WOODS, THE GROVES WOULD BE THE ONE GOLF COURSE I WOULD TAKE HIM OR HER TO. I'M SURE AFTER 18 HOLES IT WOULD TAKE THE WIND OUT OF THEIR SAILS.

The challenge on this course is accuracy not distance.
I've played some pretty expensive courses recently but none were in this great shape. It may be short in length but not in challenges.

Great course for beginners.
I am just a beginner and I went with my 80 year old grandaddy, this course is suitable for young players like myself because it is fairly short and lends has minimal hazards and broad fairways. I will be back.

This should be listed as an executive course.
This was a nice short track tucked in a retirement community. It plays to a par of 65, and is a nice warm up course if you are looking to play 36 in one day.
The golf course was in very nice condition the greens rolled smooth and fast. The sand traps were raked and played consistent.. They had a small bar and kitchen. We we ordered some breakfast sandwiches at the turn and they were very tasty.
What the course lacked in length was made up by the friendly staff. While not quite an executive course, it isn't really a full length course either.
It is nice track for the money, but I would not drive out of my way or put this on a "must play" list.

Great course for the price
I always play at this course and it's always maintained super well. Staff is always friendly and have not had a single problem here. I've played here a hand full of times.

Wish we'd come here sooner
The Groves is only about 10 minutes from our home, but we have just begun playing there. We love it. It is easy yet challanging. The teeboxex, fairways and greens are all in wonderful shape, We have decided to make The Groves our permanent golf course.

Extremely short
Found the course in good conition. Greens putted well. But.... found the course very short and very broken up in the community setting. Back in particular seemed like play one hole and then drive though houses to get to the next..... EVERY HOLE!!!!

this is a great course
the course is on the short side, but they require the right shot of the tee. there is a lot of water, but if you hit it straight you will be fine

Great course for the average player.

Great executive course
It's a drive if you are coming from Tampa, but worth the trip!! The staff is friendly and the course is clean. Challenging holes and greens are smooth!! I recommend this course!

The course is short but challenging on hole # four and ten. Do not bring your driver out good with three wood and under. Greens are in good shape.

Lots of fun for the money
A short course that is in excellt. shape and alot of fun. Very good practice for approach shots and putting. You can just use a 3 wood or driver on most holes. More than usual number of par 3's which is good practice.

Best greens and fairways in the area.
This gem of a course is off the path not well known, but what a beautiful place. The layout is shorter than a traditional 72. Par is 65 with one par 5, numerous 4's a bunch of 3's. Play from the blues for a nice little challenge of accuracy. Staff is friendly. Fairways and greens are consistent and well maintained. Even the tee boxes are in great shape. This place is great.

Beautiful Course !
Absolutely beautiful course. Probably the most scenic course I've ever played. Beautiful landscape, with all kinds of wildlife on the course. From exotic birds, to rabbits, to deer. Definitely makes you feel like a golf course in the middle of nature.
The "greenest" greens, I've ever seen, but terribly slow. I enjoyed the doglegs, and the overall layout of the course. Would love to play this course once a month, if I lived in the area.

Excellent staff and course in great shape.
The Groves is our favorite course. We have been playing it 12 years and, even though we have to drive over an hour, we play it every other week and have referred several of our friends who also love the course.
