poot The course is in terrible shap. The greens are hard and thin. The fairways have almost no grass, can't get a decent lie anywhere. The sand traps have little to no sand in them. The tee boxes have no grass at all and are so hard that getting a tee in was almost impossible. This course use to be in good shape in the past years, How could they let it go to this extream. Don't waste your time I think I have now found the worst course in the Orlando area. I think I had two shot the entire day where I had grass under my ball. The course is in terrible shape in all areas but the greens, which in fairness were decent. April 30, 2015
Nothing special here The course is in pretty rough condition. Fairways were not adequately maintained. The course actually takes away from the neighborhood it's located in. April 30, 2015
Bring plenty of balls This course is a very tough layout for a high handicap golfer. There is a lot of water and blind hazards. Long second shots seem to be the key here as many holes are not driver friendly due to doglegs or water. I did enjoy seeing many deer on the course that seem to unafraid of the golfers. The greens were in excellent shape for this time of year. The fairways and first cut of rough could definitely stand some improvement. April 24, 2015
getting better The greens were in good shape but wet. And the fairways are getting better. The course is challenging and worth the trip. April 23, 2015
Much improved conditions The course had improved significantly from a year ago. The greens had almost no bare spots and were fairly smooth. The fairways and tee boxes had few bad spots, but there were still weeds. If they continue to work on the course, it could be great. The other change was that they added a tee box(white) that is about 5900 yds and rated about 125. This made the course playable for older and higher handicap players. One should always check the water hazard intrusion into the fairways as they are not always obvious. April 23, 2015
Difficult Difficult for average player. Too many hazards and lost balls. April 22, 2015
Improved conditions This course is really a gorgous setting to play golf, my first ever round of golf was played here and it resulted in a passion for golf. One of the primary problems this course faces is that is does not drain well, so after any rain it is very soggy and makes playing conditions difficult and unpleasant. The other factor is that it is a very challenging course with many water hazzards, so the less proficient golfers can expect to lose many golf balls in a round. Having said that, the current condition of the course is significantly improved, especially the greens which were in good shape. It is a great test of golf and if the course is dried out, it is much more pleasant to play. I am glad I gave this course another opportunity, it is always very reasonably priced, and I do plan to play it again. April 22, 2015
