Hillcrest Golf & Country Club, conveniently located minutes from Ft. Lauderdale and Miami in the heart of Hollywood, FL. This scenic layout is a "must play" for any visiting golfer to South Florida.

In the summer of 2000 famed architect "Gentleman" Joe Lee was asked to redesign Hillcrest Country Club's championship course. While maintaining many of the classic features of the course, Joe Lee added mounding, new sand traps, improved tee boxes, new lakes and gave the green complexes a whole new look. Hillcrest's championship course reopened in May of 2001 to rave reviews. The beautifully maintained Tif-Eagle greens, lush landscaping and pristine lakes will appeal to all discerning golfers. The par 72 layout measures 7076 from the Championship tees, 6677 from the blue tees , 6270 from the white tees and 5207 from the ladies tees. Our signature 18th hole provides an exciting conclusion to your round of golf with an Island Green surrounded with a bulkhead.

The course rating is 73.4 with a slope rating of 139.

Pricey for the overall conditions Paid 56$ plus taxes. Other better choice of courses at this price range February 15, 2015
Solid Vacation Course Played twice this week. First time pace of play was very good, greens were a little slow but were challenging to read due to undulation. Sand traps were excellent with a fine grainy sand. Fairways were easy to hit from and areas off the fairway were not consistent. Lots of trees lining the fairways but few really come into play.On the second day we were waiting on nearly every shot due to a slow foursome a few groups ahead of us. No sign of a ranger intervening. Overall we enjoyed the course and would recommend it. February 14, 2015
Really liked this place, up until today Played this course half a dozen times with friends and it is a good course. We have always had a good time. The night before our scheduled tee time one of the men in our group (the one who had booked the tee time) had a medical emergency and spent the night in the ER. The next morning, I called the course and told them what happened and we wouldn't be able to golf. The person on the phone said I would have to speak with the GM and he wasn't in. I emailed him and told him what had happened. Almost immediately afterwards my friend's card was charged with an email from the gm saying "hope he's okay". . It was only $250, but thought it was a screwed up thing to do. I hope that was worth it my friends and I will not be visiting or recommending this course again. February 13, 2015
Very Well kept course and Great Staff! Second time playing and I was very pleased with the condition of the course. Will be playing again out of season or on a hot deal. February 11, 2015
course is average Course is kept in good condition .pace of play was not great. Did not see a ranger to talk to. A good test of talent, best to play in the morning probably. February 10, 2015
Fore! watch out! I like this place. At least I play here once in 10 days. The greens are little slow for me, but not slow, though. Many bunkers bother me some bad day. Many holes are side by side, so, you may hit your ball into the next hole, and next hole players may hit balls to our hole. so, be careful. Please "FORE!" when you hit very right or left. A good deal for your money It is a very nice course, well tended and with some interesting challenges. The green fee is more than reasonable. A very good deal for your money February 3, 2015
Good Course / Good Value A course I have always enjoyed playing. I always like to play courses at least 2 times before I make an opinion. For me, this course I have always had fun playing. When I played it the first time 3 years ago, I was just breaking 90, 2 years ago I was breaking 85, This year, high 70's / low 80's.. point is, it was fun no matter what my skill level was. Some holes that all long hitters to put up good scores, and not so long hitters to still have a chance to make good scores. 18th holes island green is a fun way to end the round. Tee shot is important to set yourself up. Random Fact: We were told that one 18, they clean more then 1000 balls out of the water every week or two. Enjoy February 2, 2015
