Hillcrest Golf & Country Club, conveniently located minutes from Ft. Lauderdale and Miami in the heart of Hollywood, FL. This scenic layout is a "must play" for any visiting golfer to South Florida.

In the summer of 2000 famed architect "Gentleman" Joe Lee was asked to redesign Hillcrest Country Club's championship course. While maintaining many of the classic features of the course, Joe Lee added mounding, new sand traps, improved tee boxes, new lakes and gave the green complexes a whole new look. Hillcrest's championship course reopened in May of 2001 to rave reviews. The beautifully maintained Tif-Eagle greens, lush landscaping and pristine lakes will appeal to all discerning golfers. The par 72 layout measures 7076 from the Championship tees, 6677 from the blue tees , 6270 from the white tees and 5207 from the ladies tees. Our signature 18th hole provides an exciting conclusion to your round of golf with an Island Green surrounded with a bulkhead.

The course rating is 73.4 with a slope rating of 139.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful finishing hole !! Great time !! The course was challenging however very enjoyable !! I'll play this course again !! August 22, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Mean #18 Very good conditions but hole direction signs could be improved in the overlapping areas. No ranger on site and pace was slow. The 18 hole with its island green represents a definite challenge but it is what I remember this course for, its definite signature. July 31, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Playing for birdies Very nice course. Challenging. Really good greens. Fairways in good shape. Enjoyed my round. July 25, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Fast I played as a single and flew aroundo the course. Over all it is in good shape and a good layout. Got it cheap on golf now and well worth it June 19, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Very nice layout I really really liked the layout of the course. You do meet your challenges in this course. Dog legs with sand right at the curve at your landing area, among other things. Double threat !!! The island hole 18th really tests your skills. I want to go back. I also liked that there was constantly a ranger driving around the course. We were a twosome stuck behind three foursomes and only one or twice had to wait very minimal time to tee off. All that being said, the course needs a little TLC to make it great. It is not terrible, but a lot of burnt spots on the fairways. Players in that course do not fix divots off or on the green. I probably fixed at least three and up to 6 divots on every shot. The greens are not too hard to play as they are fairly flat. The ball rolls just fine, but they are soft. Conclusion: I will go back. Rated 3 out of 5 by Course was sold I was told the Hillcrest Golf course was sold and now signs of that are beginning to show. The traps on some holes were washed out and not maintained or raked out The staff is very friendly and I have played there many times. I will reconsider my choices based on the rate I paid. The greens are in good shape, rolled true, tee boxes they had treated with weed killer and some were sparse. Fairways in good shape a little dry in areas but considering the hot weather we have been having in late May good condition. May 31, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by the course needs attention Lot better choices for the same money play behind threesome and it was very slow pace May 17, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by First time playing alone at Hillcrest!! Played alone and everyone was so friendly And helpful. Fairways and greens in good shape . Had a fabulous round. May 13, 2015
