Hillcrest Golf & Country Club, conveniently located minutes from Ft. Lauderdale and Miami in the heart of Hollywood, FL. This scenic layout is a "must play" for any visiting golfer to South Florida.

In the summer of 2000 famed architect "Gentleman" Joe Lee was asked to redesign Hillcrest Country Club's championship course. While maintaining many of the classic features of the course, Joe Lee added mounding, new sand traps, improved tee boxes, new lakes and gave the green complexes a whole new look. Hillcrest's championship course reopened in May of 2001 to rave reviews. The beautifully maintained Tif-Eagle greens, lush landscaping and pristine lakes will appeal to all discerning golfers. The par 72 layout measures 7076 from the Championship tees, 6677 from the blue tees , 6270 from the white tees and 5207 from the ladies tees. Our signature 18th hole provides an exciting conclusion to your round of golf with an Island Green surrounded with a bulkhead.

The course rating is 73.4 with a slope rating of 139.

Fun but slow My wife and I played here on a Friday afternoon. The course was in great shape and fun. Pretty easy to find your ball, even if you don't hit the fairway. My wife struggled with all the sand, but that's Florida I guess. Greens were a little beat up with ball marks but still played fair. We were paired with a single that knew the course well. Pace was okay for about 7 holes then slowed way down. Took over five hours to play 18. January 11, 2015
Excellent Value with some fun holes Great course. Starter is great in getting you off on time and paired up if less than 4. Some very nice hole with water. Island green on 18 is nice finish. Sand is in great shape, I know based on several shots into sand. January 10, 2015
Dec 2014 Course conditions were average and the staff was friendly. December 31, 2014
great course for the money i had a great time at this course. friendly staff and a decent course. i had to use their rental clubs since i didnt have mine, what can i say rental clubs are rental clubs. it was more expensive than my green fee which was a little bit annoying, but other than that i had a great time. will come back again when i visit in the future December 28, 2014
A lot harder than it looks! I really enjoyed this course. It was a lot harder than I remembered. The greens are very challenging and a lot are raised and not very forgiving. I was kind of surprised at the conditions of the greens. They were fast and in good shape but some were kind of bumpy from ball marks that weren't repaired. I don't understand why golfers would not want to respect the greens for the next players. Also this time of year you are going to get slow play. It's just unavoidable. Our round was almost 5 hours. The range here is one of the best around and great putting green too. I would recommend this course. December 15, 2014

Busy but enjoyable. Course in good shape. Has a lot of sand but not much water. We had a beginner in our group and he had a great time. October 27, 2014
