Old Corkscrew Golf Club, a Jack Nicklaus ‘Signature Design is Southwest Florida’s # 1 Rated Golf Course. The coveted awards associated with the property include: ‘Best Course Near You’ & ‘Best Course That You Have Never Heard Of’, Golf Magazine, ‘Florida Golf Course of the Year – 2008’, NGCOA and ‘One of America’s Best New Courses – 2007’, Golf Digest.

The par-72 championship layout which opened in 2007 meets the highest design criteria. Since OCGC is not part of any real estate development, this course is a “core” or “stand-alone” extraordinary golf experience. The course design has been developed to mesh precisely with the outstanding natural assets – mature oak, pine and cypress trees and a natural flow way through the center of the property... adding up to one spectacular golf course.

From the black tees, the course is rated as one of most challenging in Florida. Annually, the venue plays hosts to FSGA and USGA events, and for the past two years – 2011 & 2012 is the host qualifying site for the ACE Group Championship, PGA Champions Tour. To any golf enthusiast, the course is honestly considered a ‘must play destination’.

Reviews did not do justice This course is rated one of the best and now I know why! Staff better than 5 stars. Course pristine. Make sure you bring your A game or extra balls with you. The only reason I wouldn't come back is........... Well there is none. See ya in April when I come back. Phenomenal facility. November 19, 2014

One of the best courses in Florida Great fun but difficult yo score may be the greens are a bit to difficult November 15, 2014
I’ll play this course every day for a year. I’ll play this course every day for a year. I played white tee, which is 6222 yards. I used my 3 wood a lot. Fairway and placement is the key. Green in good conditions and was the fastest I have played in Fort Myers. If you find it to easy, go back a teebox or tow. If it is no fun go forward a box or tow. Tee boxed was a little used, just tee up where everybody don’t. On course service passed us a least 7 times and asked if we needed anything. You will experience a relative poor result from a good shot. Still I will recommend this excellent course. November 13, 2014
Not worth it! Played this course as FGCU was finishing up a tournament. So the greens were really nice and fast. But I found the landing zones to be quite narrow with wide areas prior to them and then extremely narrow landing zones. These "tricks" belittle the course although I still had a 76. Too many other great courses nearby to play to put up with some of the blind shots and elephants buried under a couple greens. November 13, 2014
October golf at Old Corkscrew My fault ,,, I grabbed a later tee time thinking pace of play would be quick , WRONG . barely got it in , over 4 :45 to play in late afternoon , BUT ... The course was in fabulous shape...greens were perfect , fast and really fast . Lots of fun to play this track , highly recommended . Will play again and again ....If you can ..make sure this one is on your list !, October 31, 2014
Great green speed Tee to green you have to be cautious with course features. Working the ball is a big plus. Pins today were a bit more challenging and some challenge to read the breaks. Had a terrific day, it kept my focus on each shot. I'm an 8 handicap and found some tee shots from white tees driving through fairway. You will not hit driver from all par 4s. Will play it again. Incredible Experience Played for the first time at 2pm in the afternoon at an unbelievable Golfnow rate of $39. Playing this beauty for that price is almost criminal. I've played many courses in Scottsdale, SC, and FL and this Jack Nicklaus signature course (no houses...just a jaw dropping 18-hole wonder in the wilderness) may be the nicest course I've ever played. I had read great reviews from Travelin Joe in Golf Mag. and it didn't disappoint. My 9 yr old son played too and the staff was AWESOME. A++ October 13, 2014
