Old Corkscrew Golf Club, a Jack Nicklaus ‘Signature Design is Southwest Florida’s # 1 Rated Golf Course. The coveted awards associated with the property include: ‘Best Course Near You’ & ‘Best Course That You Have Never Heard Of’, Golf Magazine, ‘Florida Golf Course of the Year – 2008’, NGCOA and ‘One of America’s Best New Courses – 2007’, Golf Digest.

The par-72 championship layout which opened in 2007 meets the highest design criteria. Since OCGC is not part of any real estate development, this course is a “core” or “stand-alone” extraordinary golf experience. The course design has been developed to mesh precisely with the outstanding natural assets – mature oak, pine and cypress trees and a natural flow way through the center of the property... adding up to one spectacular golf course.

From the black tees, the course is rated as one of most challenging in Florida. Annually, the venue plays hosts to FSGA and USGA events, and for the past two years – 2011 & 2012 is the host qualifying site for the ACE Group Championship, PGA Champions Tour. To any golf enthusiast, the course is honestly considered a ‘must play destination’.

Beautiful Course I have a Jack Signature course locally named "The Bull" so I had high expectations. This course will not disappoint. It is challenging from the beginning. Well positioned bunkers make accuracy key off the tee. You don't have to be long but accurate. Conditions of the fairways and greens were great. 5 sets off tees to give every skill the chance to compete. Every hole was picturesque and very few adjacent holes. I enjoyed it greatly. Old Corkscrew Course in good shape, only $55 for an afternoon round was worth it. Course surroundings were beautiful, but difficult if you are not hitting the fairway, would definitely suggest this course. April 15, 2014
Father & Son Weekend Awesome !!!! Best course in Florida. All personnel were friendly. April 13, 2014
Not quite worth the money course was very nice but i was expecting more, the only wild life i saw was a coon in the garbage can and no birds to speak of, the layout was tough as expected but as far as wow holes can,t remember.I paired up with 3 guys from Chicago and they were great to play with .yes i would play this course again but not for more then 80$,really like the fact that there were no homes on the course April 11, 2014
you know a slope of 140 has consequences great staff - nuanced difficulties abound to demolish your score - the mental park of your game gets a good bruising - but even a recovery here and there toughens and rewards April 7, 2014
Very Challenging Very Nice Golf Course. Very pretty setting with no houses on the golf course. Course is set in like a nature preserve setting. Very difficult greens. Play can be slow because most golfers are going to have difficulty with this golf course April 2, 2014
Awesone golf course This is about the 5th time I've played this course and I think it's one of the greatest, most challenging courses you'll find anywhere. I'm a 7 and play the blue tees 74.0/146 and a mid 80's score is pretty good golf at this course. It's not just hitting fairways and greens is hitting the proper spot particularly on the greens. I like to think I can figure out a golf course after playing it once maybe twice but this one is a work in progress. Play the appropriate tees and don't even think about blue or black unless you are a single digit. This one will make you think ! April 1, 2014
Wonderful Experience. Exceptional Golf We booked our round on GolfNow. Expensive, but I had heard so much about it, wanted to try it. We truly enjoyed the day. Staff, starter were exceptionally friendly. The course plays very fast, with lots of roll in the fairways (ball tends to roll INTO trouble, of which there is plenty). The 144 slope indicates the character of the course, but there is always plenty of room to hit tee shots. The greens have impressive bunkers, are relatively hard and plenty quick, although not any quicker than many other courses in the area. A shot left in the bunkers left difficult up and downs. We loved the fact there are no houses anywhere near the course, and while the conditioning is superb, it doesn't have the "country club manicured" look. I like that. Seems to remind me of Pinehurst-area courses more than Florida. I can't wait to try it again. Several "blow-up" holes, but I would love to do it again. March 22, 2014
