Old Corkscrew Golf Club, a Jack Nicklaus ‘Signature Design is Southwest Florida’s # 1 Rated Golf Course. The coveted awards associated with the property include: ‘Best Course Near You’ & ‘Best Course That You Have Never Heard Of’, Golf Magazine, ‘Florida Golf Course of the Year – 2008’, NGCOA and ‘One of America’s Best New Courses – 2007’, Golf Digest.

The par-72 championship layout which opened in 2007 meets the highest design criteria. Since OCGC is not part of any real estate development, this course is a “core” or “stand-alone” extraordinary golf experience. The course design has been developed to mesh precisely with the outstanding natural assets – mature oak, pine and cypress trees and a natural flow way through the center of the property... adding up to one spectacular golf course.

From the black tees, the course is rated as one of most challenging in Florida. Annually, the venue plays hosts to FSGA and USGA events, and for the past two years – 2011 & 2012 is the host qualifying site for the ACE Group Championship, PGA Champions Tour. To any golf enthusiast, the course is honestly considered a ‘must play destination’.

Golf round Would really recommend this course to everyone. Was in great shape. January 22, 2015
Very Challenging Enjoyed the course immensely. We played a replay and got another 12 holes, course knowledge was very beneficial. The first 9 were difficult due to the blind hazards. Watch the GPS closely. I will definitely be back. January 22, 2015
$150 golf that is worth $150 The very best in the Naples area that is open to the public. Nicklaus has designed an excellent track that has uniqueness with each hole with a variety of shot making that can intimidate visually. Long dog legs both left and right, short and long par 3's and short and long par 5's. The short par fours have small greens the long par fours have elevated - undulating greens. The putting surface is tiff eagle that is maintained at 10+. I would recommend this course to the mid to low handicapper- not a beginner. Those of us that love golf will enjoy every shot, every second of the day that will keep me coming back for more. January 22, 2015
So, so The course is good, but in my opinion it is overrated. Too expensive and that's why i mean it has too little value for the money January 20, 2015
Great challenge Excellent golf course. Great layout. Very challenging. One of the top courses I ever played. January 20, 2015
Overrated Goofy golf at its best. Greens were slower and sticky which actually made them tougher because the ball never rolled to flat spots, but stayed hanging on sides of the undulations. Visually it was impossible on several holes to see the definition of the greens and several times I hit great shots that looked great from the fairway but were actually on the fringe with several feet of fuzzy uncut fringe to putt through. Course was soggy like all courses in this area and every shot stopped exactly where it landed with no roll at all which made the course play forever long and very unenjoyable. There were a few good holes but overall a terrible design from a great player who I can't believe calls this a signature course. But then again old Jack never earned a design degree and it shows at this mediocre track with carnival greens. Bunkers were in great shape though. January 20, 2015
Great Course Great staff. Very Friendly. Priced a bit high, but South Fla. in January is the only place to play. I would return. January 18, 2015
Amazing course Played this course while on a college visit with my son and his friend. Didnt know much about the course before we played but heard good things. Wow! We were very impressed with Old Cork Screw. The course was in great condition and the staff was very friendly. The food was excellent too. It was challenging and fun for all of us. We had a wide variety of of handicaps in our group - a scratch golfer a beginner and a couple of 12-15 handicaps. We all enjoyed the course. If you are playing golf in the area - old cork screw needs to be on the rotation. January 18, 2015
