Overall good layout and course. Fairways are a little sparse and the rough is not thick. The entire course grass could use water too. The greens roll good, but are slow. I've played this course many times and it's a good track. There is NO drinking water on this course! There are fountains scattered around, but water pressure is zero and it taste terrible. Even the water in the cooler outside the club house taste bad. When I mentioned it to the staff their response was "yeah, we sell bottled water". Even though they've covered the rear deck overlooking the course and have tables both inside and out, no one was around. The staff as well as the "director of golf" could use some training in customer service. Service and friendliness is non existent so it's a good place to play golf only.

Slow Pace of Play
The course is always fun to play and provides a nice challenge. The pace of play was super slow. It was made worse by an idiot in his orange shirt (nothing against orange - just hoping he reads this and recognizes himself) and his two side kicks cutting in front of me because they thought the tenth tee was the first tee. I wouldn't have minded but he had a few nasty things to say to me because he thought I was cutting him. It made me laugh when they realized the par 3 11th hole was not the 399 yard par 4 2nd hole they thought they were on. It made me laugh when they made a u-turn.
Back to the course...The greens were in great shape but a little slow. The fairways were in decent shape and had some run in them. I waited on every hole for at least ten minutes. One group a few holes up caused the delay. Five hours for 18 holes is too long. As far as I know, the PGA Tour was in Jacksonville not Deltona. Plum bobbing a 60 foot putt and waiting for the par 5 green to clear from 300 yards adds to the delay. PLAY FORWARD AND READY GOLF!

Weather conditions were perfect: Slight breeze, Hi 70s, Not a cloud in the sky. Course conditions were equal to the task. Greens firm and fast, fairways wide and forgiving, tee boxes lush and green. Will definitely return . One of the best golf values in the NE Orlando area.

Great challenging course
Greens and tee boxes were in great shape. The fairways could use some work. No ball washers at the tee boxes.

About the course
Played from the blue tees( III ) The course did not play very long but was very challenging due to the elevations Got to use clubs other than driver on a few holes Fairway conditions just ok and greens were just aerated so I cant comment

Good course in good condition for the money.
Deltona is a good course with good conditions. The only complaint I had was that they screwed up the scheduling of a tournament that shoved us to the back nine for a start and there was a crowd at that tee.

Played here many times in the past. It is always a good value for the price. The pace of play can be a bit slow as they generally put as many people out as possible with minimal time between tee times. Generally the group teeing off behind you waits long enough for you to hit your second shot, so things can get a bit backed up. Otherwise the course itself is in great condition. The greens are nice but roll pretty slow. One odd thing is that all of the sand traps play as waste areas. It's almost as if they don't want to take care of the sand anymore. This can be kind of frustrating but I suppose it keeps the price down. The course has some elevation changes which makes it very enjoyable. There is no water on the course but plenty of sand.
