Nice course, but expected nicer
I played the Champions course. We expected the greens to be faster (was a little wet though) and thought the overall appearance of the course would have been more upkept. Seeing it is the home of the LPGA, we expected a little more.

A well crafted and cared for golf course!
The course is terrific and the practice and warm up facilities are excellent - a must play in the Daytona Beach area!

Awesome Golf Facility all around
Challenging links style golf course, fairways and roughs are plush, tons of visual obstacles to overcome, for instance many holes have a marshy hazard or water you have to carry from the tee to make the fairway,(nothing ridiculous though). Greens have lots of tiers and intersting ondulations. Overall super golf course.

to much sand. Wore the S off my cllub.
I played Sunday at 9:30 am and went around in 2 and a half hrs. The course was empty and I don't know why. I think the Legends course is much better and was getting all the play. Way to much sand or mabe I just hit it in to much sand . I was in fairway bunkers and greenside bunkers all day. I have played the Legends course 3 times and thought I should check out the champions. Never again.

Best public course in area
I have played 6 other courses in the area in the last two weeks and this one was in the best condition by far. The course is very fair from the white tees (6240 yds) with fairly generous landing areas. The greens were in very good shape. A Great deal for the money.

this course is very nice and enjoyable
i recommend this golf course because it is well manicured, it is challenging and it is opened. therefore, i don't loose many balls. also the tee off are great and the greens slick and fast. the fareways are fine. i aslo enjoy the gps. i will definitely go back.

Best course in the area available to the public
Golf now really makes this course affordable. Green fees are normally over $60.00, but we've been playing a lot for less than $30.00. Fairways and greens are in excellent condition. Fairways are reasonably wide, but there is a lot of sand, and some water. This is our favorite course in the area and we have played about ten different courses.

great gollf course!!!
We really enjoyed playing the Champions Course.The fairways and greens were in great condition.The only negative about this course was some of the sand traps were hard and lacked sand.The day we played was very dry so it was a wet condition in the traps.We will play this course as often as we can afford!!

Great Course with Incompentant / Understaffed Personnel
Beautiful Golf facility. Well maintained grounds, golf course and various buildings. Extremely overbooked and/or misbooked. Unlike the airlines, however, management attempts to squeeze 757 passengers into an A320 airbus. The results equal a 1:30 Tee Time that must leave the course in the dark after the 15th hole. At $70 per person, there is no excuse for that. Funny enough, when I was checking in, they were still booking times for an hour after mine. If you play the LPGA this time of year bring that novel that you've been planning to read, a picnic lunch, and a pocket full of cash. There was even a ten minute wait to purchase a Gator Aide.

Fun course!
Rolling fairways. Some what links like. Fairly wide open. Water on most holes, but does not always come into play. Course in excellent shape. Greens were fast. Enjoyed it. Would look forward to playing it again.

An area classic...
The course was in great shape, as it usually is. If you are new to the area or visiting, I would recommend playing both of the courses at LPGA. Champions is somewhat of a links style course with mounds and berms framing most holes, miss the fairway and expect a challenging lie with difficult but fair rough. The greens are well kept and generally roll moderate to fast.

WEATHER DOMINATES
THOUGHT THE COURSE WAS GREAT BUT THE WEATHER WAS ANOTHER MATTER, TOO COLD THE DAY WE PLAYED TO REALLY ENJOY ALL THE COURSE HAS TO OFFER. PLAN TO PLAY ANOTHER DAY WHEN THE WIND AND COLD DON'T DOMINATE THE GAME.

This course is well bunkered and manicured.
This course was a great challenge, fairly wide open fairways, but have to be precise with the irons to the green.
Pace of play and green speed was good, played the Champions course two days in a row, could not get on the Legends...booked solid. I really like having the GPS on the carts, takes all the guesswork out of the equation.

Course is challenging but still very playable.
I thought the course was challenging but was still very playable. Fairways and greens were in good condition with the greens being fairly fast. It was well trapped and I would say a fair value for the cost.

Bunker placement and narrow openings to greens make course challenging.
Course was well worth the money. Contours on the greens were deceiving and most are well bunkered. Course was in good shape.

Great course
Being LPGA International, I expected it to be a good course. It was better than expected. Super friendly staff, great rolling fairways, and smooth rolling greens.

If you can play just one of Legends or Champions...
If you HAVE to pick one course or the other - I personally would play the Legends course. I played Legends yesterday and like it so much wanted to play Champions.
Champions is not an easy course by any means (guys we were playing with were really struggling) but it is much more forgiving and open than Legends with few forced carries.
All but the very worst tee shots were in play in some manner (not so on Legends).
Had great days on both courses - especially with the GolfNow deals we got. Enjoy.

Enjoyable round on a great course
We booked a 12:27 tee time to get the afternoon discount. The course is a bit spendy but decent value. They have a temporary club drop and clubhouse while they finishing the remodel of the permanent one. Less selection of merch now but the remodel is supposed to be done soon.
The starter got us out 20 minutes early and as a twosome. We followed a single and has a foursome behind us. After a couple holes it seemed we had the course to ourselves. The course is fairly wide but there is plenty of sand to grab errant shots. My wife plays the forward tees and they are very well placed. I played the white (middle of the 5 sets) and they were very fair with only a couple forced carries. If you hit it straight you will be fine...my slice was full on and I did lose a couple balls into the water.
All-in-all well worth the drive from Orlando.

Excellent golf course
Great course. Greens were smooth but slow. I was expecting much faster greens. The traps were perfect. The fairways were awesome. The only issue was the pace of play. Almost 3 hours on the front nine and no sign of the marshall. When we finally saw him on the back nine we were no longer interested in the game. All he talked to us about was the alligator on the fairway ahead and he mentioned there were 6 open holes ahead of the group ahead of us.

Course you can score well on
Great course,
I was surprised to see how wide open the course was. Playing from the whites was roughly 6300 yards. Take 1 extra club on every approach shot to the green is my advice; all the trouble is in front of the green.
Greens were challenging in terms of pin positions today as well as breaks. All greens have breaks to contend with/ compensates for the generous fairways.
The course is a fantastic deal for the money. A+ recommend!!

This was nice.
Relatively easy course for the low handicap player. When the wind blows, course plays pretty long. Fairways were a bit too soft on a dry day, which seemed a little peculiar.... the greens were fairly slow in comparison to the Legends course.
