Potentially a Good Course Was referred by a friend but course did not meet our expectations. The course conditions appear to be on their way back from some severe maintenance issues but they are not there yet. Pace of play was very slow which made for additional concern over the conditions. Greens were very inconsistent and fairways thin. Practice range was poor, quality of practice balls was worse. November 16, 2014
Very Poor Condition but Not sure why? I have played Legends many times over the last 10 years but this is the worst condition I have ever seen it in. Granted we only played $25 but it is very poor, most of the course has weeds all over it. The greens have a number of different types of grass growing in them which makes them not great to putt on and generally the whole course is in a bad way. I am not really sure why this is as the weather in Orlando this time of year is very good, not too wet so they are able to control the amount of water the course receives but it looks like the whole place needs a good dose of weed killer to allow the grass to come back. I won't be returning anytime soon! November 12, 2014
Needs Better Management Our threesome played Legends-Clermont this past weekend. We took advantage of their golf/lunch/range balls special. Our tee time was 10:30am, and we arrived at the course at 9:15am. We paid for the special but was informed that they were out of range balls at the moment, but if we came back in about 15 minutes there should be some available. Really? A Saturday morning and you’re out of range balls???? Anyway, we wandered around the small pro shop which was adequately stocked with both men’s and women’s golf items. We did some putting and eventually got the range balls to warm up before heading out. When it was time to head out the ranger was helpful with basic course info. However, that’s about where the course helpfulness ended. The course was packed and there were several very slow foursomes ahead of us. At no time during the round did we see a ranger. At one point after making the turn there were 3 foursomes waiting on Hole 10. We found out later from the cart dude that there was a really slow group that refused to speed up even after being talked to twice. But they weren’t removed from the course so it backed the entire day up. We waited on every hole on the back nine. Needless to say, we’re not impressed with the management. The course had some very nice elevation changes which were fun but it definitely was showing wear and tear and the greens were inconsistent and in bad shape. When we finished our round (over 5.5 hours) we went to get lunch in the grill. Imagine our surprise when we were told that the grill closed at 3pm. When we purchased the golf/lunch combo that fact wasn’t communicated, but if the course had been managed adequately we would have finished in plenty of time to get lunch. So the sketchy course management resulted in a sub-par experience and no lunch. They did refund us the lunch cost of our payments without complaint. However it wasn’t the best last impression. In summary, this was a disappointing experience. The course has potential, but it needs work and management really needs to rethink how it schedules players and how it handles slow play. At this point we have no plans to put this course on our replay list, and I wouldn’t recommend it. November 6, 2014
Good value for the price. There's no water issues. I would play this course again. The only problem was upon reaching the 10th tee - there was a back-up almost as if they had added some players at the 10th tee which slowed our foursome down. Watch out for the fire ants. October 31, 2014
Good Golf Course...Great Price The golf course was in good condition and the price was excellent. The staff was very nice. I will play here again. October 30, 2014

Not the normal flat Florida course Enjoyed the ups and downs of the course. Good layout which requires concentration before you play your shot. Manicure needs some attention as this could be a top course in Orlando. October 30, 2014
Disappointing course quality… Actually I like this course, because of its somehow “less-Florida-like-layout”, but I was negatively surprised about the shape – it really needs a lot of attention. Some tee boxes are uneven; the most fairways have bad spots (too wet or missing grass). The greens were sanded, but even if they would not be, they don’t look very good. It was maybe the first time (in about 15 years) where, after I have played it, I would not at the moment recommend to go there… Hope it will recover soon. Positively we have seen a lot of people working on the course. Overall this would really be a course with an interesting layout, but… October 28, 2014
