The Cove Cay Country Club Golf Course is a PGA, semi-private, 18-hole championship course located on the shores of Tampa Bay. This David Stewart layout places accuracy at a premium with water coming in to play on thirteen holes. The course offers spectacular views and an abundance of wildlife to add to your golfing experience.

Cove Cay presents a challenge to many different levels of golfer with four tees to fit your skill level. Cove Cay offers full practice facilities including a driving range, chipping green, and putting green. The club accepts reservations for private tournaments, charity functions, and golf leagues.

Once labeled as one of Tampa Bay's "best kept secrets," the word is getting out about the recent improvements to the course and clubhouse. Our friendly staff and great accommodations are sure to make your next round at "Paradise Found" a day to remember.

Not again I played this course in Oct and it was in horrible condition. I gave it a second chance yesterday and it was in worse shape. This course is not playable from start to finish. The only good thing was there 2 for one drafts on the 19th hole. April 8, 2014
This course has a good layout. Not worth the money. Greens were awful. Staff not too friendly. April 5, 2014
Great location, but this is far from a 'must visit' We played on a very cold day (started the day at 45 Fahrenheit), but it was sunny and the day turned out just fine. Course was beat up, to be sure, but very playable. Coming from Canada, one must accept poor playing conditions, so I can hardly complain about rough spots and bare batches in March! Greens were cut very fine and were fast and challenging. The location is really the bright spot here - there are some spectacular views of the Bay that make this a nice course to play. Value for money, there are better options in the Clearwater-St.Pete's area, and I doubt I would return, but it was challenging and I was just happy to be playing golf in March. March 27, 2014
Don't pass up Cove Cay if you are golfing in Clearwater My son and I very much enjoyed playing Cove Cay. It was early March so greens conditions were not perfect, but still very good. Cove Cay is a beautiful course with many views of the Tampa Bay. It is challenging but not too tough for a 20's handicap like me who had not played all winter. The staff was very friendly and play speed was good. very few back ups playing on this Monday Morning. Hit'em straight and enjoy Cove Cay, Rusty golfer from PA March 24, 2014
Typical St Pete/Clearwater Golf As with most courses this side of Tampa Bay, conditions were just ok. Greens looked rough but held and rolled fast and true. Hard to read subtle rolls. Tight landing areas and approaches to some greens make this a challenging track. March 23, 2014
Fivesome There was a fivesome of poor golfers two groups ahead of us, which cause the group behind them to wait on every tee box, and we waited on every tee box. I would not return there. March 22, 2014
was once a good course They appear to be losing their greens and fairways were apparently not over-seeded this winter - very little grass in some spots. I will not play this course again, not worth the money. March 21, 2014
Course was beat up. I won't lie, the greens, (and I'm not picky by any means) literally had patches of straight up sand in them. They were beat up. Fairways were thicker than expected (on par with the tee box). I will say this though, the guys in the pro shop are awesome. Got me paired up quickly (even though many two and threesomes were kind of jerks and didn't want to be paired up, which ruined pace of play) and he even comped me a warm up bucket of balls being an out of towner! Had the course been in good condition, would have been a fun challenging course but it just looked beat up. Pace of play was terrible which seems to be a trend for FL courses for me so far. I'd say pass on this course and play Clearwater CC or Bardmoor which are about as close and in much better shape. March 16, 2014
