Snail play I have played this course twice this winter. The first time I was stuck behind two sixsomes and finished in near darkness. This week it took one solid hour to play the first three holes only to find 5 groups on the next hole. No ranger any where on the course. February 26, 2015
Over Priced This place did not start well when we got there, Just after paying for our round the people behind us were checking in for their tee time that was already 15 mins past and we had shown up 15 mins prior. Once we went out checked with the starter and he said we were next. So we got our clubs loaded on the cart and then went to the first tee. Then the guys who were late came got in front of us and the starter said they were up first. Then as we were on the tee after them we were practically heckled by the older couples behind us because they felt we cut in line.... I'm not sure what "you're next" means to this place but clearly it is not their understanding. The people behind us were rude old people that seemed to be upset that non-members were playing. So the first nine took us almost three hours to play because this place just starts putting people on the tee with little organization. The greens were challenging as said in previous reviews, but played even tougher because the grass was dead in several areas and no one fixed their divots. It was like putting in the Wal-Mart parking lot. Considering how much they charge I would stick away from this place. I would not pay more than $25-30 for a round here. February 25, 2015
Painfully slow Guessing overbooking is standard because the day before when I was at the range i heard the club house guy say they were 1/2 hr behind, same thing he said the day I played. No ranger to speed things up. Be aware of errant shots (and there are plenty of them) as several holes are tightly packed next to each other. Greens are rather bland with all sloping downward back to front and without much character. I would not play this course again. February 25, 2015
Slow Love this course in summer, but brutally slow 3/23/15. 3 hours for nine holes. Tee time 1:48, didn't tee off til 2:30. Fog rolled in at 5:30 and staff offered 9 hole rain check, which was appreciated. Will be back when snow birds leave..... February 25, 2015
This course not very good for serious golfers Back 9 was way better than the front 9. Got to 1 tee and there was 4 4somes waiting. February 25, 2015
course okay - very slow play The course was fine, fairways easy to hit, nice bunker placement and some water in play. A high value on second shot due to green slope. If you do not stay below the hole the pits were fast going downhill. Needed heads up at some tee areas due to crossover. We had a 1:20 tee time, we were early but it took 11 minutes just to sign in. The poor starter had to also get the carts and keep the horde calm. Tee times were 1/2 hour late. We were paired with a local who told us that it is normal to be very crowded during Feb. Since the course is so reasonably priced. It took close to 6 hours to play. They should add 5 minutes to each tee time to help pace out the course. I would not choose there during busy season. The local said the pace is much better in the summer. February 18, 2015
A good walk not spoiled Terrific weather conditions led to a most satisfying 4-1/2 hours on a well groomed, staff friendly course. Pace of play only marred at every Par 3 hole; aside from that the course played fair. February 17, 2015
This course is a fair test of golf. Lots of bare spots by the hazards hard to take a fair drop without moving the ball to some grass, ( winter rules ) February 17, 2015
