first time I have played this course in the past, found it in good shape. Had friends for a visit, played Clearwater, me and friends were very pleased with the course......Will play it again in the near future. April 15, 2014
Don't Bother This course is extremely tight and potentially dangerous for golfers. Fairways stacked side-by-side to one another through most of the course, several holes straddling roadways that you will hit OB on to if you have the slightest fade to your shot, at one point several greens and T boxes all culminate and so the course decided to put some lovely 20' tall chain link fences all over the place including directly off one of the greens and straddling a T box to give you a narrow corridor to hit down. The bathrooms are locked and there is a combination to get in, however they do not give you the combination when you check in. From T Box to the fringe, the course is in awful shape, the grass is burnt and they cut the fairways so short you are basically hitting off dirt. The greens are very small with very little contour to them, all though they are lightening fast and the ball rolls very smooth on them. The golf carts are the old-school gas engine type, which are extremely loud and are responsible for at least a few poor shots on my part due to other golfers driving by during my back-swing. There are so many better choices in the area for similar green fees. Go elsewhere. April 12, 2014
I found this course to a great deal as far as being able to get on it and play. I always find it fun to go to Clearwater CC to play. At 70 years of age it is challenging but fair. April 10, 2014
nice afternoon The course is nice and an average challenge to the better golfer. There were no rangers to keep people moving. It is a tight course so keep your heads up and aware. The greens were consistent and in decent condition. No complaints except that on the weekends, when it is crowded, they should have rangers pushing people a bit. April 6, 2014
Small sloped greens Its really more of a muni course than anything else. Small sloped greens make it tough for crummy players like myself to score. Made me feel worse about my already pathetic game. April 6, 2014
good course for any type of player Best bang for the buck in area, straight forward, not real tough, but fair April 2, 2014
Nice course Very nice course but played slow. Six fairways come together in one corner making it confusing. April 1, 2014
Good course for seniors We are spending some of our winter here in Clearwater. I have played about 10 courses, this one more than others. I play as a single and the starter always gets me a game. It is one of the few courses that permits walking, it is easy to walk and it is a fair layout. It has a very convenient location March 24, 2014
